Chris-Chan Sighting at Gamestop (With Video)

Assuming that charges are pressed against him for assualt with pepper spray which has a nasty minimum sentence, can Chris be found not-guilty by reason of insanity? The burden of proof falls on the defendant in that case to prove that they are insane (i.e. not being able to hold responsibility for their actions due to mental illness) and Chris is hardly a mentally insane person.
Most likely not, he may be able to use automatism( He had an irestable urge to do it but Chris can understand right from wrong and that his action of consequences. As the link below notes it a high test and rarely successful.

Oh my god how neat. I work at gamestop. Word spreads quickly through stores even if they're a few states away. I can't wait to hear my coworkers sperging on about sonichu.

Wasn't he banned from that mall already though? Why did he return? Was the siren song of sonic's arms too strong for him to resist?

I guess Chris assumed that not only had the staff of the mall gotten the apology letter, but they'd also decided to lift his ban.

Come on guys, lets blame the real people at fault here and thats the employees of sega. This would have never happened if it weren't for them, those diabolical bastards. Instead we would be talking about how Chris was being banned from Toys r Us for detroy a my little pony stand because there hooves weren't hoovy enough to his liking. So can we please focus on the people who are to blame whenever shit like this goes down with Chris and that is the people who create and sell toys marketed for small children.

I doubt mental institutions are the same at the moment more likely if he does (does being the key word) end up in a funny farm he will be put in a guarded facility with other patients bored out of his mind while nurses nod and smile to his ramblings of trolls and blue arms while prescribing him meds

I can say from personal experience that being willingly hospitalized is still terrifying, and I can imagine that an institution that houses legitimate criminals would be even worse. The doctors and orderlies treat you with respect and dignity, don't get me wrong, but you get up close and personal with some of the darkest aspects of the human psyche in regards to yourself and the other patients. There is a distinct chance that Chris could even be put into a psychosis ward should he be hospitalized, which is just a hive for trouble. Not that I believe Chris has psychosis - he's too self aware - but he does suffer from enough delusion that it could warrant a move to a more intensive ward. The orderlies would have a rough time with him at least, and if he can't play nice with "slow in the minds" then I'd hate to see him confined to a common room filled with people who've forgotten their real names as a result of constant, intense hallucinations.

This is all just pure speculation, of course, on a BIG hypothetical scenario. Chris needs psychiatric help to be sure, but he's competent enough to function. He just lacks the motivation to actually function.

If OPL were smart -- and I'm not implying that he is -- he could attempt to use this clause

Nothing herein contained shall prevent the use of tear gas or other gases by police officers or other peace officers in the proper performance of their duties, or by any person or persons in the protection of person, life or property.
To dig himself out of trouble by insisting that he felt "threatened" by Mr. Yellowshirt and gave him a short, controlled burst of "liquid deterrent" to make Yellowshirt "back off"; because OPL -- being a member of an oppressed minority -- needs to keep mansplaining transphobes away from his lesbian soul.
It probably won't work, but it is a gambit that a dumb, gullible juror might momentarily take seriously.

In the video it is quite clear that yellow shirt guy was backing away and even putting his hands up in a non-threatening manner. He was not acting aggressive and the prosecutor will point that out. Chris already had the pepper spray out and ready, which shows intent to use it in an offensive, not defensive, manner.

C'mon people. If you're too busy to read the whole thread you're too busy to post. I realize that it's just vitally important that we be exposed to your identical reaction, but at least check to see it's not something that gets repeated three times a page first.

Wow...someone needs to reign him in before he gets into real trouble again.

The ship has sailed on "before".

The issue with someone giving Fatty a good gob-smack is that the law would side against him. Though he undoubtably deserves a good drubbing I wouldn't recommend it.

This is a job for Daredevil.

Calm down and wait for info before speculating on his eventual prison sentence and such.

Why though? Speculate is all we do here. I get that it's pointless but so are 99% of posts in Chris. This is all we have.

I suspect the entire reason Chris wanted to get back into the mall was to pull this little stunt.

Tis the season to be stupid
Falalalala lalalalaaa

So heart attack in jail? That liquid he sprayed the guard with could have been anything, it could have been mace, it could have been perfume, it could have been acid for all anyone knows. And that is why that poor employee SHOULD press charges.

Summary for TL;DR:

  • Chris very likely sprayed a fogger-type mace rather than Axe or whatever he might have been using to vandalize any Sanic standees, based on the Tumblrite's assertion that it was mace, and the fact that the reaction was cut off at the end of the video. Mace is not instantaneously debilitating.
  • The person maced was likely an assistant manajerk or otherwise higher-up at GameStop.
  • According to a phone call placed to the Gamestop in question (which is confirmed as the C-Ville Fashion Square Mall GameStop), the employee was indeed maced.
  • Chris is still on probation from the Snyder attack. He is therefore very likely going to get violated on that, regardless of whatever shit he gets in for this assault.
  • Chris is wearing glasses from a MLP toy set.
  • The person who was sprayed is okay.
  • Legally, Chris committed some sort of vandalism, likely a criminal trespass, and very likely a felony-level assault.
  • Chris has been banned from GameStop at the corporate level.
  • Tumblr is shitting itself re: misgendering Chris.
  • All the GameStops in the area knew full well who Chris was before this incident.
  • We have no information about whether Chris has been arrested or even taken in for questioning at this time.
  • Chris is competent to stand trial, and there is no reason to believe his conduct, as autistic as it is, would support an insanity defense.
Finally, as one of the forum's self-declared legal commentators, I would be interested in traveling to Virginia to observe any proceedings for posterity.

Chris comments on video, admits to macing guy "Because he called me male"

. He should get away with it "because he's trans".

This. Self-defence is a bitch of a claim unless the person literally came at you with a weapon, and it's clear as day that Yellow Shirt was backing up.
Also if he'd just literally seen an offence (even a misdemeanour) happening, Yellow Shirt would have had every right to rush at Chris use non-deadly force to restrain him until security or jerkops rolled up. Self-defence really can't apply here.

Huh. Assuming the comment is legit, Chris thinks the employee is "cursed."

I think he meant cursed as in "cur-sed" the old figure of speech, like 'curse you'. Not cursed as in Ye Ha Me Ha.

Other comment Chris has made on his youtube account...View attachment 11759

Yeah I'd wager it's been hacked. This shit reads like a clumsy parody of Chris, not the genuine article.

Edit: I suppose it would be a clumsy satire of Chris, since he's a real person and not a work of art so by definition he can't be parodied. /comedy nerd
