The biggest threat he faces, IMHO, is being declared non compos mentis and thus being stripped of his rights.

Most likely not, he may be able to use automatism( He had an irestable urge to do it but Chris can understand right from wrong and that his action of consequences. As the link below notes it a high test and rarely successful.Assuming that charges are pressed against him for assualt with pepper spray which has a nasty minimum sentence, can Chris be found not-guilty by reason of insanity? The burden of proof falls on the defendant in that case to prove that they are insane (i.e. not being able to hold responsibility for their actions due to mental illness) and Chris is hardly a mentally insane person.
I guess Chris assumed that not only had the staff of the mall gotten the apology letter, but they'd also decided to lift his ban.Oh my god how neat. I work at gamestop. Word spreads quickly through stores even if they're a few states away. I can't wait to hear my coworkers sperging on about sonichu.
Wasn't he banned from that mall already though? Why did he return? Was the siren song of sonic's arms too strong for him to resist?
I doubt mental institutions are the same at the moment more likely if he does (does being the key word) end up in a funny farm he will be put in a guarded facility with other patients bored out of his mind while nurses nod and smile to his ramblings of trolls and blue arms while prescribing him meds
If OPL were smart -- and I'm not implying that he is -- he could attempt to use this clause
Nothing herein contained shall prevent the use of tear gas or other gases by police officers or other peace officers in the proper performance of their duties, or by any person or persons in the protection of person, life or property. To dig himself out of trouble by insisting that he felt "threatened" by Mr. Yellowshirt and gave him a short, controlled burst of "liquid deterrent" to make Yellowshirt "back off"; because OPL -- being a member of an oppressed minority -- needs to keep mansplaining transphobes away from his lesbian soul.
It probably won't work, but it is a gambit that a dumb, gullible juror might momentarily take seriously.
Wow...someone needs to reign him in before he gets into real trouble again.
The issue with someone giving Fatty a good gob-smack is that the law would side against him. Though he undoubtably deserves a good drubbing I wouldn't recommend it.
Calm down and wait for info before speculating on his eventual prison sentence and such.

Chris is still on probation from the Snyder attack. He is therefore very likely going to get violated on that, regardless of whatever shit he gets in for this assault.
Tubular Monkey said:Chris is mentally ill and getting worse. He's painting himself into a smaller and smaller corner and is completely unaware of it.
In the video it is quite clear that yellow shirt guy was backing away and even putting his hands up in a non-threatening manner. He was not acting aggressive and the prosecutor will point that out. Chris already had the pepper spray out and ready, which shows intent to use it in an offensive, not defensive, manner.
Huh. Assuming the comment is legit, Chris thinks the employee is "cursed."
Bob Boxbody said:He should get away with it "because he's trans".
