This raised a related question in my head: how much of DSP's behavior is trollshielding?

It doesn't matter at this point as he gets trolled no matter what but he is accidentally his own biggest troll. Of course anything he decries comes back ten fold. Ack ack ack, fraghs, lean in manual ban. It's so weird he doesn't realize that he's the walking text book of you attract what you put out. But he deludes himself using words like 'chill' and 'fun'. Then he becomes his own meme when all he talks about is fast food passionately. He has delusions and tries to troll shield a lot, but the more he does it the more he gets trolled. Bugged brain mechanics dood.

So, the most interesting side effect of aging, I've learned, is that you're forced to learn. Our brains are amazing at pattern recognition, we can notice patterns in the subtlest of behaviors.

If he doesn't see it now, then he will soon enough. I think he HAS noticed a pattern, but he can't figure out what it is. He's too focused on bits. All of chat can be hard core trolling, but if there's a few people doing cheers, he ignores it. And you can drive the conversation. I'm testing that out right now.

I think Dave is acting on a code of conduct that he hasn't quite figured out.

Yeah chill and fun is troll shielding but I also think he partly deludes himself with it. He sits there stone faced, raging and looking miserable so if he tells himself it is chill and fun at the end it strokes the ego lol.

To be fair, it wasn't just him. Dave had a pretty lucrative day (compared to his last week) between battery guy, bigboyabides, am-I-even-a-troll-at-this-point vote democuck, and shaokonartist. He probably made like 70 bucks today, but was still basically working minimum wage, and he lost a shitton of subs because it's been a month since his first salty Succarow stream, where he got a bunch of subs that didn't realize how cancerous he actually was. He'll lose a bunch more tomorrow, too.

The doctors that refused to do anything for Leanna's anxiety fucked him over.

DSP legitimately believes he is doing everything right, and his struggles are due to everyone else fucking him over. That's how a narcissist thinks.

DSP's chat has been almost completely taken over by Wings of Redemption trolls at this point. He has received just over 2000 bits in total so far, with 988 bits coming from "polishandy325", who constantly cheered Wings of Redemption-related stuff, and 538 bits coming from "vote_democrat", doing basically the same thing as he always does (throw money at DSP while asking stuff related to either politics or Wings of Redemption).

I just don't under the mentality of doing this...you can just as easily do the same shit by @-ing Phil and saying whatever you have to say. If you're remotely intelligent, you can probably sneak it by the mods.

These are just the ones I recognize as trolls or probably trolls (billythomasthe3rd, aka thirdeyethethird). These troll cheers made up 72% of the total cheers for the day. Yeah, Phil got "only" $70, but without these stupid ass troll attempts, he'd be at about $20. If you're giving him $10, you're firmly in the "LOL I TROL YOU" meme category. You're not playing some 4D chess. I'd have more respect if someone came out and said "Yeah, I want to prolong this trainwreck, so I throw dollars and laugh". They'd still be stupid, but at least they'd be honest.

Thirdeye has problems, just like one of Dave's old "troll" paypigs, GeneticGamer. I know Genetic shows up in DarkDave's restream, and I wouldn't be surprised if ThirdEye was in there, too. Genetic is off his fucking rocker and desperate for attention or something; dude is unbearable. And the funny part is that when Genetic shows up in the restream he gets tons of shit from everyone telling him he's a retarded findom cuck, but he just keeps coming back.

So, speaking of troll bux, Tevin is doing a Hamberlynn stream and she happened to be live simultaneously. She read any super chats sent her way, including several DSP memes. We had her congratulating Dave on his new horse, big ups to Liquid Richard and Sean Ranklin, shout outs to Tevin, etc.

The crown jewel for me though was getting her to say “DSP get a job.” Worth every penny.
