I don't think it's complicated at all.

Chris is just especially passionate about Sonic, and Sonic's arm color being changed may very well be the most mad he's ever been over a single thing. As such, he lashed out with an unprecedented amount of tard-rage. I really don't think there's anything else to it.
I just think that if that's the case, the (over)reaction is a little late coming. Sonic Boom has been in his craw for months already. Something had to push him over the edge. Holiday stress compounding the latent Sanic rage may be one thing, but I feel like there's got to be something else to push him to felony levels.

If they get close enough to see it, his butt is IN TROUBLE.

Dude, he's an effeminate weakling with a huge fat ass, watches pony shows, wears dresses and pink glasses, tries to tuck his duck and pierced his taint because a clitoris would be in the approximate same location on a woman, and talks about his soul having a vagina.

The real question isn't when is Chris going to get raped in prison, the real question is when is Chris getting married to a convict in prison.

Meanwhile, Chris was perfectly fine with Sonic becoming a Werehog. A far more drastic and dumb change to the character.

This may have already been said but I wonder if the Catherine shenanigans are what pushed him over the edge.

Nah, pretty sure it was his own retarded delusions once again getting the best of him and driving him to commit some inexplicable criminal behavior just for the sake of him acting out. Like the Gameplace/trolling "conspiracy," the HEX BOX vandalism, and now his idiotic Sonic Boom fixation, these delusions of his eventually escalate into yet another run-in with the Jerkops if they're left unchecked.

In my opinion, it's less about Sonic Boom as a game and more about Sonic Boom as the single representation of Chris's ineffectuality, his most dreaded enemy.

In the twenty years since Chris won that Sonic contest, SEGA has been merrilly rolling along (more or less) while Chris is still the same person now as he was then (barring some cosmetic differences). So that Sonic changed - more importantly, that it changed without his input - is solid proof that the gulf between his childhood aspirations and adult realities is as large as the Grand Canyon, and getting larger by the day.

The decade has so far been defined by Chris suffering big personal blows to the things that really matter, namely Bob's death and the loss of both house and home. For any number of reasons, Chris hasn't begun to properly grapple with those. Sonic's blue arms, though? That, he can comprehend. Like a lot of other things in Christory, it's the smallest, most insignificant things that send Chris into a tragicomic spiral, because those are the things he obsesses over because those are the things he understands.

Sorry I'm late, but I saw this on my Twitter feed earlier on. I'm not following anyone or anything to do with Chris, unless you count a few Sonic fans. It was so meta seeing something Chris-related being mentioned by a regular Sonic fan (not everyone in the fanbase knows about him luckily).

Anyway, I can't say I'm surprised about this. He's sperged about Sonic Boom before, he was bound to sperg about it again. It's going to be interesting to hear what he has to say at the court hearing, and if he pulls the "BLUE ARMS GAVE ME SENSORY OVERLOAD" card in his own defense.

Also, who wants to bet that Chris will end up deluding himself into thinking that this is all some elaborate trap made by SEGA and Mike Snyder? ;)

Yeah. I'm trying to figure out what set Chris off this time. It had to have been something to go from low-level ridiculousness to full-blown felonious conduct. I don't think it's just something that's been building since Bob died or the shit with the house started to fall through, either. I think something significant may have happened that we're not quite aware of (at least not publicly).
Mkay, just for the sake of speculation...maybe this year Barb couldnt be arsed to leave the hoard for five minutes and buy a present to Chris (or the other way around, or maybe none of them gave a shit), he threw a tantrum, and they spent the 25th screaming at each other and treathening suicide as the crazy old ladys they are.

So the 26th Chris had the crazy dial cranked to 11.

Well of course he'll delude himself. Delude means shit, right?

Take it to the Nth degree. Imagine the most horrible thing Chris could realistically do. Suppose he ran over some little kids with his car. Ask yourself, would he feel bad about it, or would he make excuses and make himself the only real victim? Would he say that the little kid stuck in his wheel well was a trolling brat? Yeah, he would. You know he would blame the victim in every single circumstance. So of course he'll blame anyone he can here.

"B-But Officer, you don't understand.....Clyde Cash.....he's......he's recruiting young kids to torture me now! We have to find Clyde Cash and stop him!"

The thing that's standing out for me in this situation is that the guy he pepper sprayed was in no way, shape or form, threatening, blocking, or attempting to detain Chris. It would appear all he did was offer to call the police.

Chris is already on his way out and only a few, unobstructed steps from the door when he attacks the guy, his decision to spray the employee strikes me as pure vindictiveness and nastiness, and is definitely an act of aggression on Chris' part.

It's also telling that his victim is pretty much the last person he has a chance to attack, so it's like he's waiting for the last possible moment when his escape is assured.
It looks to me like a preemptive strike so the male doesn't interrupt his sashay with harsh words.
