The J tube wasn't causing the constipation. Opioids main side effect is constipation and apparently she was cranking the dilaudid as much as she was allowed to. At those kinds of doses you will have to literally scoop the shit out physically otherwise it isn't coming out especially since it is likely she never took any of the bowel prep or laxatives you are supposed to use prior to starting opioids.Fourth time is a charm eh? Amazing that any doctor agreed to do a unnecessary roux-en-Y on her, this was the main reason she ended up dying. It’s also strange that when she was hospitalized for severe shit inpaction they didn’t address the j-tube situation. No way someone with a j-tube should be suffering from constipation so bad it requires hospitalization and surgery.
Also, lol, how long did she wait to complain about not shitting? Two, three weeks? When I worked at a place that had some paralyzed patients stool impaction was a problem for a few. The brave nurses there would don the big gloves and manually uncork the patient with their fingers, shit flowed freely afterwards. (Nurses are unsung heroes btw) It was a routine procedure called “digital stimulation”
I never saw a patient have to be hospitalized or have surgery due to constipation and these ppl had serious issues due to paralysis. I can’t imagine someone who had feeling below the chest waiting so long to deal with constipation that surgery was necessary. Girl must have been taking fucking mountains of opiates to get that constipated AND not be bothered by it till it was that bad.
You are correct in that channels can approve comments before having them appear on videosI think she had them set so they had to be approved by her before they posted? I don't know how Youtube works but that seems to be something she could do. It looks like no comments have posted since 3 days ago when she last logged in.

Opiates by the truckload (IV dilaudid on demand for the last week or so), iV benadryl which is an anticholinergic, and recent general anesthesia for a minor procedure, which in the past has caused her to become constipated even without the PKs and benny. She was also totally sedentary other than some calisthenics and light resistance training that might have been just for the camera, and her diet was that of a child.
If I'm not mistaken the heavy opiate abuse started with the roux-en-y surgery.
This is such a weird situation. It 100% feels like she's going to pop up tomorrow with a new vlog or something, like it's some kind of elaborate munchie prank. But, realistically, that isn't the case.
she made such a big deal about missing Easter and how much she loved her church friends that I was 100% waiting for this to be some religious “the doctors gave up on me and I died twice on the table but I miraculously was resurrected, praise him!” Saga.
Why people chose to die by tricking doctors into unneeded surgeries I will never know.
AJ: Docc my POTS/IBS/Whatever is flaring up agaiiin, can I get some meds pls? Maybe via IV? And a looong hospital stayProbably wasn’t conscious by the time they finally found out something was really wrong
I understand the opiates caused the constipation. I was trying to saying being constipated that bad with a j-tube is serious and I’m shocked they wouldn’t either say you have to have the j-tube removed or stick to the formula diet exclusively for the j-tube to remain or cease the opiates causing the constipation.
Being so constipated that surgical intervention is necessary is fucking crazy and pretty rare. Many things work before resorting to surgery is necessary, so the fact she was hospitalized for and had surgery shows things were seriously off the rails. Big red flag for someone with a j-tube and adminimal surgeries in the past.
I’m sure they prescribed medications to relieve it, enemas, tried to get her to follow a diet, etc... but she did none of it.
Just amazing the kept letting it go on and kept her on massive doses of opiates even after things got so bad her adomen distended and surgery was required. When constipation processes to the point that surgery is needed they usually take very serious measures to rectify the problem, including cutting back to opiates if the person is refusing to follow diets and take other steps to prevent the problem.
should prob put the death date in the opBorn: March 1, 1996 (Age 21 as of writing)
Because with unneeded surgeries comes sympathy and attention. Why people chose to die by tricking doctors into unneeded surgeries I will never know.
The amount of insane decisions and attention seeking behavior compounding on itself is simply astounding.
The only thoughts/sympathy I have is that the medical bills don't dig their family into an early financial grave.
