reddit General

If I wanted to play devil's advocate for these loopy Redditors.... I can certainly understand that slamming down the laptop and grounding your kid for a month is probably not the right call either. Going full exceptional and becoming a evangelical/puritanical authority asshole is always a mistake. FUCK YOU DAD is almost always the top item on the ingredient list for whoredom. But holy fuck these people and this 'browse the dildo aisle with your 12 year old" nonsense.

Unless the dad is forbidding watching porn entirely he's not purintanical if he doesn't want to buy his daughter a dildo. Taking away the computer might be a bit puritanical but the guy was going to find out anyway at some point since I don't think the daughter was going to buy it herself and it was going to end up at their house. But it doesn't really matter since this story is fake anyway.

On that topic, redditors are a weird bunch of people. They think of teenagers as both adults and children. They're adult in that they can decide when they want to have sex but they expect their parents to put them on birth control and pay for it like a child would. I understand it's to prevent them from getting pregnant but idk they just treat the teenagers who are about to be adults as idiot children who can't stop having sex for one moment or get a job(which they can if they're a teenager) to pay for their birth control. You're supposed to be teaching your teenagers responsibility at that age and just paying for everything they want doesn't do that. Do they think that that teenager is somehow magically going to become a responsible adult at 18 when you basically babied them until that moment?

I noticed all the subreddits like to act like they're "superior" or not "crazy" like [insert subreddit here] but they're all the same. The MCU fandom/Comic book movie fans are some of the worse people I've seen there. That and a couple other "fandoms" of various media.

It's also "nice" seeing genuine opinions (usually controversial) being downvoted.

Someone in UK Parliament shows a "kill all terfs" meme with Lily from Zombieland Saga for 2 seconds, twitter goes retarded over it, then reddit rehashes and discusses it themselves (because they are uncreative). But more than anything it's reddit's infamous trans community who wants to egg_irl every confused teenager that is fapping over this.

I'd actually be willing to bet money that at least 75% of the popular content on Reddit was stolen from 4chan or one of the other chans. Redditors are a woefully uncreative bunch.
They don't lack creativity; they are the lack of any creativity. It's a mainstream platform. White soccer-moms with wine and book clubs make up half the posts on those normie subreddits. "What's a thing men don't understand that women don't care about?" Tiny penis, not being masculine, not being ripped, not making more than them. Wowee, what a fucking revelation. Live love laugh as well?

People using characters that aren't theirs to try furthering their exc*ptional agenda is sickening.

r/characterrant is an underrated sub. I've seen great analyses of many fictional works there and I've had some fun coming up with theoretical alternatives to VS Battle Wiki there myself.

Someone even made a whole essay on how genius the power system in the Chinese webnovel Desolate Era is: https://www.reddit.com/r/CharacterR...uly_you_need_a_very_high_cultivation_base_to/

EDIT: You know a site's mods are mega-gey when subs that ban the downvote button (like r/characterrant) can only have downvoting banned on the DESKTOP site. On mobile, the downvote button is still there (and I've seen people use it, despite the sub's rules saying NOT TO).
