ETA: Yes I know this was recently posted, but that's more indicative of how fucking trashy their attitude has been recently.

Also they cancelled the stream yesterday due to "illness". I assume it's because Dan was a fucking crybaby and upset about getting rolled by the subreddit... which is stupid because they would have gotten so many fucking pity donations since their fanbase is stupid.

Part of me wonders if Allie did that deliberately in an attempt to switch the critical heat from Dan to herself - similar to how she took full credit for uploading those Jon Benet 'inside joke' on their social media, when she would have had to get the go ahead from her boss to do so, effectively taking the hit for them.

If that's the case, I seriously hope Arin pays her enough to be his company's personal scapegoat.

I'm half expecting one of their deranged fans (or a particularly obsessed Zelda fan) to try and do him in eventually. I can totally see something like that eventually happening and forcing them to cease any public appearances/live shows.

r/RantGrumps is getting a bump in users now because of the Danny comment, and the declining quality and lack of transparency from Game Grumps.

More people making those dramatic "Okay, I finally Unsubscribed." posts. I don't get why people have to make it a big deal, wow you don't like something you used to like for a while, welcome to growing up.

Honestly that whole community is a shitshow and I've watched most of it. Seriously there are some unhinged people that would constantly stir drama. r/ConspiracyGrumps was good at first, they actually busted them on their shit a few times, but after the Jon stuff died down it's just become shitposts.

I come back to check on this thread and Danny's embraced his Judaism. "We will continue this series if it has a good reception, honest!" Honestly, before this Dan thing and the stuff with SuperMega I thought GG might be able to transition to streaming, using their channel's size and name recognition to get a continuous flow of new viewers for their streams. But now? I'm thinking 2 years until they're completely irrelevant.

Danny was the guy keeping people there, I think. Nobody likes Arin, personality wise. He's loud and dumb, and all of his opinions are bad. Dan was more chill, more open to new experiences. He should have been the player, paying attention to all these games he never played because he was busy studying music and couch surfing, with Arin's shtick just making fun of the game and playing off of Dan. Maybe playing a prank from time to time, like telling Dan to run up to Sharp in Majora's Mask to try and talk to him and feigning a glitch.

Now? You've got a lack of charisma and good will going forward. This is just the beginning, many fans won't know about this interaction. But if Dan's becoming more servile, or more genuinely pretentious, that WILL leak over into his performance on the show/streams.

Have you seen the discussion of Giantbomb's 2017 GOTY awards? There is so much cringe that it hurts to watch. The diversity hire woman completely derails and holds up their discussion for an hour+ because Dream Daddy isn't rated high enough (because it's shit and nobody else is a funjoshi). They eventually cuck out and just give her whatever top 10 number it's listed at just to get her to shut up and move on to the next topic. Her whole argument of why it deserves to be listed as a top 10 game can be boiled down to because.

The fact that they had to be pressured/bullied into placing that virtual novel on a top ten gaming list takes away any prestige such a placement would normally have.

Only a self centered child would proudly crow over such a 'victory'.
