I see them like every other day. For a medium-sized city I would think there couldn't be that many, but they are very common. Whether adolescent or elderly, they stand out, evoking that sense of 'jesus fucking christ' every time. Uncanny valley runs deep. I do know some that pass and seem normal, but still, those forever non-passers run things.

Nah, estrogen is a neuroactive steroid. Takes a little longer for gene expression to change, but if you're a guy with normal hormone levels and you hit your system with a big dose of estrogen, it's no surprise if you feel different pretty quickly.

I can't make a run downtown to the post office without seeing at least two of them, but then again I live in an area where it is at least supposed to be more common. Still, I have to agree with your take on the statistics. It's exploding in popularity right now at an almost unbelievable rate. I cannot believe how many I see in the wild. It actually does get better for gay kids, though. Being a gay adult is pretty good compared to being a gay kid, which kind of sucks.
Ever seen a troon get better? Troons just get worse and worse, grosser and uglier, and filthier, and more autistic and disgusting.
I think the trend will burn itself out. Right now, people usually cut troons some slack because actually having gender dysphoria and being suicidal is a raw deal and people sympathize with someone with serious mental issues like that. But as they more and more encounter these nasty ass troons who just troon out and have foul hygiene and act like complete assholes, their patience will wear out, and there won't be a troon pass to act like an asshole and get away with it.
When there's no attention bonus for trooning out the attention whores will find some other way of whoring for attention.
