The only FtMs I've seen that actually pass start hitting the weights immediately once they go on testosterone. If you're pudgy, bearded, have a femininely shaped faced and are balding from the DHT then you end up launched into the uncanny valley with no escape.

Muscle can hide a lot of shit. It also helps that several older bodybuilders fucked up using gear and got the moon face anyway, so...

If they're on Testosterone its probably heavy weight prior too now coupled with bloat. Mtf always seem to be hideous from the get go but Testosterone often wrecks females, the 'goodlooking' ftm are exceptions not rules. The vast majority of ftm bloat, retain water, gain weight, their skin goes to utter shit as a result of acne, they start balding- there's a reason there are quite a few detramsitioned ftm youtubers because Testosterone use in females more often than not totally fucks them up and one day they look in the mirror and realise what they did it to themselves.

which is of course easier to hide, but that also means more electrolysis, which is painful and only works well if you have light skin and dark hair

imho it's harder to be a balding woman than a woman with a deep voice, especially since most ftms' voices don't get super deep to begin with

Just from self-reports I've seen, FtMs also seem to receive worse medical care as well.

No blood tests, herculean doses of testosterone without an aromatase inhibitor so a bunch of it gets converted to estrogen and you immediately start ovulating.

Your ovaries are producing every sex hormone known to man while you've got more testosterone wandering around your veins than a professional wrestler and you wonder why you're not having a great time with this whole HRT thing.

If you do any amount of medical research into the possible complications of excess testosterone in females there is no way anyone should be deciding that body hair, a "deeper voice" and other generally cosmetic masculine features is worth it. The health risks and possible complications are terrifying and it's such a 'new' science/medical frontier. It's said many time but it bears repeating that there are going to be a lot of very sick troons as they age if they make it that far.

MTF may be utterly delusional in their idea that they've gonna be a ultra hot slut but FTM are even more insane with how they think testosterone will change them into beefcake male model.
