Ok, we may have a new Idea Guy posing as Magi-Chan again. Excel Saga is a very old mediocre anime noted for its memes and Chris is occasionally trolled by him doing things with memes.
Chris has always been fluctuating with the past and the present media.
However, I don’t think Chris would waist his time watching a twenty-three year old anime only a few remember.
My theory is that it’s The Guy with the Mask in Future message from Crystal W Chandler that told him and gave him the theory for Excel Saga.

Well thank goodness he never read the manga like I did.
EDIT: There are times I wish they had added Elgala to the ACROSS team in the show, still, probably for the best, less Chris has another girl to latch onto.
