That's not all you said.I was attempting to say it’s funimation execs using their underlings lawyer to stall until Funimation has its house in order. It’s not a grand conspiracy to say an employer hired attorney representing a worker is more interested in serving the employers interest.
Its also possible that upper management sees the writing on the wall like Nick did in his initial video where he said "Sony might see this shit, fire everyone, and settle!" If that is the case, and they aren't as stupid as we think they are, 90 days is a good amount of time to suck as much value out of Funimation as they possibly can for themselves. At the very least 3 months notice to getting shit canned is nice.

But PULL/Shane/Kick Vic in general have all said as soon as this goes to court the judge will immediately declar Vic guilty of being the biggest Predator outside of a Schwarzenegger movie and summarily have have him thrown in a gulag, are you saying that they were wrongAs fun as it would be, don't expect the judge to engage in overt legal theatrics himself.
There's no rules at all about who has to go first. They're insisting Vic goes first for strategic reasons, same reason Ty is insiting that MoRonica goes first, or enters an agreement not to file the TCPA motion until after they've been deposed. So is it safe to assume Rule 11 doesn't have a rule to make Vic go first in deposition?
So Ty uses Rule 11, the rule Casey claims makes Vic go first for deposition to force a TCPA extension but still forcing both (I think) Monica/Ron to be deposed first......
So is it safe to assume Rule 11 doesn't have a rule to make Vic go first in deposition?

Took a whole 20 minutes between the filing time and the time I posted it here. Still rookie numbersAbsolute mad lad. You working for BHBH or wut ?
Need to sit on that page spamming F5 like it's a 2006 porn thread on /b/Took a whole 20 minutes between the filing time and the time I posted it here. Still rookie numbers
tl;dr pure conjecture
I think its completely possible that funimation is funding Casey, or at a minimum telling the Soye's to delay as long as possible for the "company that helped them stand up against the predator" etc. If Funimation is funding Casey it makes sense they would tell him to stall until they get their house in order to respond to this suit. It would make even more sense they would tell casey to use up as much of vic's warchest as possible as the more money he has, the greater his ability to nail their ass to the wall going after them.
Its also possible that upper management sees the writing on the wall like Nick did in his initial video where he said "Sony might see this shit, fire everyone, and settle!" Also the "my clients are full exceptional individual and its easier to make as much money out of litigation as possible" technique by Casey is not without its merits. If you where a lawyer, straight up told your clients "Not allowing deposition to be private is a death knell for your case, you need to stop sperging on the internet, we're in trouble for reals!" and they responded like we all know they have, what would you do? You know when these guys get disposed they're potentially going to realize how fucked they are.
Drive that bill up, replying in a non obnoxious manner is rookie numbers.

TCPA. Texas Civil Participation Act. Texas' own version of an anti-SLAPP motion.Ty also made the extension on that TCPA (or whatever) motion tied to Vic's deposition. Once Vic is deposed, that's the end of their deadline on that motion. He's essentially slapped down his girth and told Cucksy to suck it or face the consequences.
He'd probably respond with the fact that Nick is a third party unrelated to the case, and any information Nick had received was through his own research. At no point did Ty supply Nick with any information other than a "That does not contradict the information we have at this time." Anything that Nick has used has been taken from public record, and as a private citizen, he would have the right to report on the case with the information as he sees fit. So long as his statements are not made to defame the parties involved.View attachment 754589
"But your Honor, Nick Rekieta, a famous lawyer on Youtube, whom Ty has appeared with and is actively sending information to, was also bragging about how he would use Ron and Monica's deposition to embarrass them. How can Mr. Beard complain about such a situation when one of his confidants is openly talking about doing the exact same thing?"

Edit: There is also a major difference in Nick, an unrelated third party in the eyes of the court, disclosing publically available information, and the deposition being revealed by Monica and Ron, who are defendants in the case itself.
It was most likely an expected outcome, but is generally just the first move during a case like this where sexual encounters could be called into question. Either way, Ronica showed just how far they're willing to go to defame Vic, even if it loses them the case. It's not unusual for depositions to become public only if they're admitted into court as evidence. Nick said that if they were publicly available he would read them, but I'm sure he also anticipated that one or both sides would be seeking confidentiality.
I'm not sure this isn't a tactical move on Ty's part to force Mon and Ron to be the ones to oppose confidentiality. If they win on that now, they have nowhere to go later if shit comes out during their depositions which they don't want made public. They're not going to get a second bite at that particular cherry without Ty's agreement.
