There's no way of knowing for sure but I think that's just because the worst shit he's ever done has already been aired. Screwing John/Howard/Respect the Pact out of money and the Reeeemergency with Leanna. Phil is so fucking boring that everything else is completely mundane or already widely believed anyway. My issue with the whole thing is he's acting like he's a totally innocent party when it really has nothing to do with him. We may know he sucks 20 dicks, but to the outside he wants to appear like he's not and he's using this whole catalyst "drama" to still gaslight the detractors, and to make it seem like he does no wrong to randoms.

It's really showing the gltich in his programming. He kept saying he doesn't deal in drama and the like during pre-stream then constantly going in and talking about how ProJared was a scumbag at a con, but not going into specifics, then talking about Jared's tweet and how he never gets a fair break. He's tried so hard to play both sides, all while constantly checking his tweet for likes. and updating the chat on the matter. He's got the giddiness of the BestFriends breaking up aftermath and the Told ya so of the Machinima ending. All over something that has very little to do with him, justified totally in his mind over one tweet.
The only reason I can see that he would be acting innocent would be that he feels that he's guilty, or it's a there but for the grace of god type moment, but that would require empathy? I'm not sure Phil is capable of understanding another person because his suffering is exponentially worse in relative terms to any other person.

I'm enjoying Phil's delusional high of pretending he has the moral high-ground and that kicking someone else when they are down somehow exonerates him from a lifetime of being a scumbag asshole.

Let's see, Projared cheated on his wife and lied about it. Something like 25% of people who are/have been married admit to cheating, in fact Phil's current wife cheated on her boyfriend of 3+ years with him. Clearly Phil does not have any room to gloat here as he himself was just the "Holly Conrad" (the "Other Girl" Projared was cheating with) role in his own infidelity scandal. He was literally the other person who was cool with the cheating and still wanted to be with the cheater afterwards. Even Projared's wife cheeted on her previous husband with him so. . .

What else did he do? He exchanged sexy/nude pics with people in DMs that his wife knew about and approved of at the time because 'muh body positivity safe space'. Well he’s made plenty of mentally challenged people’s pockets lighter that’s for sure. And depends on if you count interacting in anyway with dark as a proverbial autism vortex destined to destroy you as affecting them. I think Phil outright trying to pivot into being a drama channel and having it go nowhere is funnier than the actual tweets. I'll give Phil some tiny credit for actually trying to do something positive for his business, and it might have worked if his channel hasn't already been a drama channel for the last few years as it is.

As others have already pointed out, it is hypocritical of Phil to take shots at Jared given Phil has more or less done the same things before. Phil was smaller scale, but I think that has more to do with Phil never hitting ProJared levels of fame as opposed to Phil having any sort of moral compass. If Phil was famous enough to attract fangirls who were willing to find him attractive and send nudes no matter what Phil actually looked like, he'd be all over that. Hell, you could even make an argument Phil does the same thing, except his kink is findom, so he collects tips and cheers instead of nude pictures. There's even been email leaks of Phil going behind the scenes to solicit said tips and donations.

Not going to give Phil credit because he didn't do this on purpose, but what Phil has over these other content creators is he was a scumbag from day one. He didn't try to put on the good guy persona while doing shady things behind the scenes he was an open and shameless asshat.

Maybe if people didn't document Phil on a daily basis and suddenly one day the giant list of crap Phil did was unloaded on twitter it could have lead to some kind of outrage, but since these things are seen live on a daily/weekly basis everyone who is paying attention just sighs and adds one more thing to the list.
