Remember that MoRon are both autistic adult babies living in a bubble world. Ron fell to hysterical pieces just being told "We will be in touch." He is literally such a fragile baby that he considers that to be something you can report to a bar association.

Imagine him in deposition or on the stand having to answer questions from hostile women who don't give a fuck about Ron Soye or his emotional issues. He'd fall completely to pieces, maybe even start crying.

Maybe Casey sees this and wants to keep this rolling, but he has to keep these autistic babies out of anything where their precious fee fees might have to come into collision with reality because he doesn't think it will last long after that. That would make it an absolute priority to preserve their safe space hugbox by any means necessary.

I wonder if Casey queried the Soyes about the last time they were deposed and what happened there. That might be the reason he's trying too hard to not have his wonderfully reliable not at all likely to torpedo their own case clients deposed.

One thing to remember is that Mon and Ron have been trying to throw Funi under a bus since the beginning. They've repeatedly said that their own statements about Vic are almost irrelevant as many cons had cancelled Vic before Marchi or Monica spoke out. Likewise, they have denied doing anything behind closed doors to encourage those cons to drop Vic.

Funi's sure as shit not going to let that go unchallenged, but I bet their lawyers would like to see what answers come out of Mon and Ron's depositions and Vic's before making any settlement offer. They could be quietly negotiating with Ty right now and Monica and Ron wouldn't have a clue it was happening, let alone the proposed terms.

I'm calling it now that the entire "I Stand with Vic" movement is heading to the fate of GamerGate within 1-2 years. Yellow Flash is on stream now talking with some random asshat about a guy trying to grift money off the movement while complaining about other people grifting off the movement. Every stream Rekeita does now has someone trying to super chat about their own personal go fund me for their: "friendwhoistotallynotthemwhoneedsmoneybecauseimightlosemyhouse" or people trying to pimp their shitty youtube channel. Rekeita's unrelenting ignorance of talking to people who claim to know about GG who don't and not listening to better reason will start to tank this whole ship quickly. At some point it will spin out of control and Rekeita will be forced to remove his association with it out of fear of tanking his own brand he built to be the Metokur of the movement while TUG and Yellow flash continue on to the Ethan Ralph and Sargon paths after the movement implodes.

Thankfully the case in court will most likely be unaffected by all of this, but the current litany of orbiters around this will accelerate this into something stupid. This has the potential to derail Rekeita's grand schemes of this being a movement that supports other people falsely accused of fake sexual harassment.

We are in what is called Prisoner's Dilemma. So how the game works is if you rat the other person out you only have 1 year of prison instead of 5 while the other has 10 years. The part that is removed is the fact if both rat each other they both have 10 years. It's simply a game to show betrayal always happens.

So it's very likely Marchi or Funimation ratted these people out. More likely Marchi on behalf of her counsel which is why she went silent. Unless you want to go with Nick's RbW theory. I think that's Renfield. Ty's playing a war game here in which he's trying to mentally destroy these people into settlement. Once their invincible queen Funimation falls, the domino effect will take place making people fold. Something is keeping these from folding and once that gets broken it's game over.

With Ron and Monica, it's almost certainly ego. I doubt they've even considered the question of what happens if Funi and Marchi settle and they're the only defendants left to go to trial.

From the start, Ty has always had to consider how the defendants might respond both as individuals and collectively but he's also been aware that their individual interests don't align. Monica and Ron are likely still thinking that they're on the same "team" as Funi and Marchi, not realising yet that it's every man for himself now.

Well... I'm just going to cross my fingers and hope this doesn't happen, or at the very least doesn't get that bad. Won't be surprised if it does though.

normally, the issue of the prisoner's dilemma is that it's overwhelmingly done when the party offering the deal has nothing on the parties involved.

however, this is a rare exception. ty does have solid evidence of fuckery. the reason to bring it up? simple. these guys are rat fucks and extremely likely have real dirt.

will ty use it to smear them? oh yes but not in the way they did. he'll put that shit on public record, unless the dirt is irrelevant and then he'll likely discard it.
