To be fair this is PULL, the land of disgusting (definitely in their hearts, probably in their bodies as well) ladies that nobody else wants to talk to. Of COURSE the youtuber that teaches girls how to use makeup is way more important to them than some anime voice actor.

So I step out for a while, only to find out that Monica and Soy's lolyer is the second coming of Landau, and Marchi's been playing hermit while ignoring any and all attempts to be served. Meanwhile, the defendants used PULL, Tumblr, and io9 as sources, along with using flimsy responses, which only damns them further since now Beth and possibly Marz will have to be pulled in.

I was aware of the defamation (that's the easiest thing in the world to prove, I think), but I wasn't aware they were going both TI w/ business and TI w/ contract.

I imagine that there are so many different defenses included in the response because with 400 defamatory tweets from Ron alone, they know that the same defense won't work for all of them. They'll use hyperbole for the 100+ women tweets, and substantially true for the 'he's a creep' tweets, and try to tailor their defense to each tweet as best they can. The problem they're going to run into is that those defenses are going to start conflicting with each other, because in the court case, you're going to see all the tweets, and the 'Everything I've been saying is absolutely true and even worse stuff is going to come out' tweet is going to be played against the 'This tweet was hyperbole' defense used for other tweets. I really, really, really want to see the deposition where Soye has to explain all of this.
