Casey's ridiculous citations from completely unverifiable sources combined with the request to have this be a jury trial shows exactly what his plan of action is. He's hinging on people believing in the adage; "There's no smoke without fire". He hopes that the sheer volume of accusations would be enough to sway a jury into believing at least a few of these assaults actually happened. At that point he hopes the jury decides that although MoRonica's statements may not be wholly factually correct, the spirit of what's being said (that Vic is a sexual predator) is at least true and let them off the hook. I doubt a judge would see it that way, they'd be more likely to follow the letter of the law; it doesn't matter how many accusations there are, if not even one of them can be proven, MoRonica doesn't have a case. A jury would be more prone to emotional thinking though.

I think they're just fantasizing about being sued, in the same way some of them have been fantasizing about Vic coming after them in their dreams. They get off on thinking that they're victimized.

Dude I legit think you are worrying over nothing here these things have always gone in cycles.
The Free Love Movement lead into the nationalist Reagan years where the Moral Majority and Christian Right were at their peak ,the Reagan years lead to the progressive and edgy Clinton years where the Christan Right faced it's first real backlash in the mainstream, which in turn lead to the ultra conservative Bush years where 9/11 caused a demonization of anything thought to be slightly un-American and America suffered a recession of a scale not seen since the Great Depression and the fallout of which lead directly to the Obama years which has lead into the current far left SJW zeitgeist which has gotten Trump elected.

Getting served is a courtesy. They make a reasonable attempt to serve you or assume you got it. If you don't respond after that the plaintiff wins.

he literally lied twice to the judges face. lies by omission true, but still lies both in a reasonable persons eyes and lies in the eyes of the law.
Casey just killed his case. His only hope is Ty being kind and... well. he attack Ty's honor. so that's out the window. good job Casey. You've killed your career by losing a case that could've very easily been settled even if you had idiots for clients.

As an aside... if I am, then can you explain how it is that rather than losing power and influence, we now see a completely converged news and entertainment media, a complete dominance of the social media companies and an education system that now hounds any but Marxist level professors out of jobs, punishes Old school liberal through right wing students for any thoughts or statements outside 'current year' orthodoxy; and harbors ANTIFA/SJW types?
Then there's the whole push for mainstreaming pedophilia to the degree we have 'Drag Kids" and even Washington DC conferences on how best to teach, among other things, "MAP is OK" in schools?
And we have even advanced to the SJW pro choicers pushing post birth abortion and many in the leadership of one political party agreeing and helping promote the cause.
So it sure looks to me that the facts show that the only cycle is a constant advance of hard left/radical/"progressive" agendas.

Attorneys are obligated to perform some diligence in researching what they present as fact (which clearly was not done here), but filings aren't generally under oath. When they are, like an affidavit, they include a statement to that effect.
It means you're getting served whether you cower in your whore cave or not, you dumb, bug-eyed cunt.

As Nick pointed out, in litigation, you generally get a gimme for blowing stuff off or making a couple mistakes. Stuff happens.
When you need a break on something and you've been Gallant up until now, you're going to get it.

Getting served is a necessity. Forcing the court to intervene to make other means of service than the ordinary possible is a good way to let the court know up front that you're a piece of shit and can be treated accordingly.

if this becomes the norm, I get the feeling judges are going to be more open to making sure perjuries get handed out for perjuring in your pleadings.

Don't know about Montreal but Quebec play's a different ball game then the rest of Canada, they have similar laws and things but businesses tend to be protected more due to them restricting the types of jobs that are allowed in there.
Montreal I can see if it's just there due to all the manufacturing company's and they only put the HQ there simply because of that.
