Phil's chat is confusing. It's run like North Korea, but most of the regular posters and some of the mods are the worst with posting meme shit and breaking the rules, JonCuck especially. I think the only effective rule is give Phil money.

550 people have tuned in to watch Dark, today. Absolutely pitiful view count for a day 1 release. Blame it on people playing and streaming the game early though. Contributions are low as well which really warms my heart. $34 in tips so far, with Rhab donating the majority (as per usual).

For the most part he doesn't acknowledge people from that era, as it runs counter to the narrative that he invented Let's Play.

Pretty sure the poster just was making a joke reply to the doctors appointment. To add to it: Dave running a GoScamMe for dubious health care costs isn't something I'd put beneath him. After all, if my lore is correct, hasn't he already bounced around the idea of doing a GoScamMe when his tax situation was 'really dire'?

Speaking of Wings, Do Phil's Twitch estimations take chargebacks into account? Phil says he always wins those, but he's 100% lying about that.

I don't, because there's no way to know how many or how successfully they get charged back. So if he wants to claim he "always wins", I'll just count them that way. I do, though, factor in the $0.30 + 2.9% fee Paypal charges. So despite Phil's incessant bitching, DUH FEEEEZ are included in my estimations. I usually post the gross amount of tips and how much he would get if Paypal charged the fee for each individual tip.

Phil has told us before that just seeing a doctor costs hundreds if not a thousand dollars. He said he is taking Kat to a doctor's appointment. He also said his bank accounts are all overdrawn.

Where is he getting the money to do this?

He gets paid on the 15th by Twitch. He'll be getting just under $2900. That's a bit lower than usual for sure, but it's because he also got $3300 in tips in April. His Youtube monies will also show up within the next week or so, which should be in the range of $800-$2400 (depending on CPM; that range is $1-$3). So basically he's pissed away a bunch of money yet again and is trying to simultaneously beg for more and claim he's a big boy successful "business" owner.

Pewdiepie claims to have been a fan of his and has eclipsed him in an entirely different way, which Phil is super salty about. The only reason he wouldnt put out an "Oh #WHOOPS" about Pewdiepie's fuckups is because he's a coward, and Pewdiepie is far bigger than he is. Pewdiepie would probably also bring up his fanning for DSP and I think DSP knows it, plus Pewdiepie could probably expose him. He knows Pewds will swing back and he knows it's not worth it.

Just to put in perspective, I used to hate Pewdiepie because of Retsupurae and the "offensive rape jokes" but honestly when he says he has like 70-something million subscribers, the population of the New York Metro area is like 22-25 million or so. When he hit that mark I was like, fuck, maybe Im wrong. America is something like 320 million people so for him to have as of now 95.75 million subscribers, think of that as nearly 1 in 3 people in America being subscribed to Pewdiepie.

It's actually commendable. DSP has 188.1k. The pupil has utterly surpassed the master. Regardless of if it's because of memeing; DSP had a fledgling version of Pewdiepie's audience with his WHOOPS thing and look how that ended up because of how he handled it.

It is crazy he got two months worth of bits/subs 30 days ago. The usual excuse of "it all went to bills" doesn't work when you surprisingly got twice the pay you were expecting. That's the kind of cash that could help with sudden, shady, vague behind the scenes issues. I'd be more specific but it would just bore you, and it's none of your fucking business anyway.

Oh man he looks so deeply engaged in the game, you can just fell the enthusiasm for playing. What are the odds that he will make his sub goal this month? I don't think I've seen him this long under 500 since the end of 2017 when he went "full time twitch steamer".

On an unrelated note: I watched back some parts of yesterday's late stream, and... oh boy. I saw someone using the word 'unhinged', which is a really good description of his state of mind. It was like watching a literal madman. He was moving so fast from one toxic or cringeworthy moment/topic to another that it was almost impossible to keep up with all of his bullshit.

Simply amazing.

He got down to needing only 2, but I'm just assuming that he'll throw on the guilt trip at some point and get the gifted subs. I mean, he's had people donate 50+ before for one of these dumbass things, so I just basically expect a smaller number like this to happen. If, however, he actually does somehow fall short, that would be pretty significant.

What's interesting is that that happened in spite of Phil getting 4 gifted subs and 17 subs overall today. It went down, though, because pretty much all the non-gifted subs are renews, not new ones. What's especially strange is that a month ago (plus the 3 days grace period), Phil was in CT, if memory serves. So there weren't any subs on 4/11. Maybe gifted subs end at 30 days now?
