I see Bob is continuing to have no sense of self-awareness.

If those universities in Brazil are anything like the ones they have here, they're being taught by people who want to holocaust anyone to the right of Josef Stalin. Wanting to dismantle the brainwashing factory teaching your children to hate everything you hold dear is not an act of "stupidity and evil". It's simply declaring that you no longer want your tax dollars funding this process.

Seeing Bob's attitudes about family members across the political divide, it now makes sense why everyone in his immediate circle seems to love him. Anyone who clucked disapprovingly about his choices and opinions was purged from Bob's life long ago. Bob probably spends the majority of his not-tweeting, not-writing time judging people on their mayonnaise ghoul potential and shunting them away from his path. It's going to be a real shock to Bob one day when the Bubble of Protection he's built around himself bursts and people he didn't vet start to intrude into his life and make trouble for him. (People like law enforcement personnel, friends of his niece, people he stands next to in line and--if I ever get my wish --a group of conservative Veteran biker gang members overhearing Bob drunkenly talking shit about America at a bar.)

Bob keeps repeating this "idiom" as if it makes him sound deep and philosophical, but here is what intelligence has to do with one's moral character: Jack shit and Jack left town. How about we review some virtues. How about kindness? Oh, wait, Bob want to disenfranchise an entire demographic (working class whites) and deprive them of their ability to make a living out nothing more than sheer malice. Compassion? Nope. Bob loves to treat them like non-humans and revels in his cruelty towards them. Good temper? He spends half his waking hours raging on Twitter. Humility? Fuck, would Bob have a nearly 2000 page thread on this forum if he had a shred of it? I didn't think so.

Intelligence is an attribute and not a virtue. There are people who are highly intelligent and commit horrible acts. There are likewise people are ignorant but still lead moral lives. If ignorance is a vice, what does that make people with learning disabilities? They would be "evil" by Bob's definition because they are not as intellectually capable as the rest of the population. People who live in countries with fewer opportunities for education (notably in Africa) would similarly fit that definition as well. If we were to borrow from the Social Justice lexicon, would that not make Bob an ableist, and potentially a racist?

As many here have illustrated ad infinitum, Bob has all the self-awareness of a sea sponge. Had he truly a philosophical bent he could see how such a declaration is problematic.

He's quoting Socrates, who said "There is one good, knowledge, and one evil, ignorance". Other things Socrates said:
- Mentally disabled people should be slaves for the rest of their lives.
- Ideas are more real than you are.
- Stories should be outlawed because they aren't true: music should be outlawed because it has no meaning; the only kinds of sculptures there should be are of the Solids.

Also don't forget, "I drank what?"

Oh god no.

And he still continues to not understand why Obama is hated.

When I first learned about bob, a long time ago, and read his intelligence = goodness tweets
I instantly wondered about the nazis, and their high iq scores (from 110 to a 140 or so)

about six months ago I learned that apparently he is dismissive about IQ as a measurement so I don't know how exactly he calculates who is smart and who isn't, aside from "clinton-democrat = good, republican = bad"

I suspect he might be basing it on geography (in part.) He lives close to Havard, MIT, Yale, Darmouth, and Brown so it would not surprise me in the least that he believes that he is smarter than most of the people in the country because of his proximity to the Ivy League though I doubt his SAT score was high enough to meet the entrance requirements.

Since Godzilla did a brilliant job of screen capping.

I was thinking something like "Brie Larson is an incredibly bland blonde woman and a big name in Hollywood right now, so she'd be perfect for the role of Samus," but then I remembered Gwendoline Christie exists. And if you made a Metroid movie in 2019 and didn't at least try to cast Gwendoline Christie you'd be a fucking retard.

Also first post, long time lurker, Moviebob is a fat moron, yadda yadda.

He's been called out on the learning disability and people who didn't have access to good education before, went with the "I didn't say they're stupid, you did! Hahaha, ablist" as his counter argument.

The trick is he never actually defines the kind of intelligence he's talking about to prevent people calling him out on it. All we can gather is believing in the "right things" makes you "intelligent" even though you can easily make a simple program that blurts out Bob-isms and that wouldn't be considered intelligent by any measure I could think of.

It's probably something as basic bitch exceptional as "hurr durr, science says Left-wingers are smarter than Right-wingers; I am Left Wing, therefore I am smarter than other people! Certainly smarter than the wasteland mayonnaise ghouls that elected Drumpf!"
