I've went into some detail on this, but the primary takeaway is that for DSP to declare bankruptcy he'd be put on a 3-5 year payment plan for his credit card debt where he'd be paying the same amount if not more towards his credit card debt than he is now. Yeah, I've filled out those forms with what I assume are reasonable values and put them in the DSP bankruptcy thread. If he filed today his disposable income would be calculated at like $5K a month because they will look at the last six months of income which had a few higher than usual months. If he wants to file he needs to be strategic about it and wait until he has a lower six month average otherwise he's gonna have to pitch a fit and beg the trustee to re-calculate his income every month to keep lowering his payments.

Got around $3,000 from Twitch on Wednesday and took the day off. Made more than enough in tips on Thursday to cover for his day off. All of the money is gone already and his bank account is overdrawn again. Doesn't know how much his dead, outdated forum costs to keep going, but it's a lot dood and he had to pay in Euros. What a load of horseshit. You truly do have to be autistic or have the IQ of a grapefruit to believe Phil. You're beyond help if you actually give him money. Well, Naruto is basically the Dragonball for a younger generation it seems to me. It is way more culturally relevant still because a lot of kids watched it growing up, it seems like. I'm not sure if it would be late milennials, early gen Z or both. This guy seems more like a Swagginz type from his garb imo.

I'd guess DSP is throwing around that "we're" going to the doctor just to gloss over Kat having a 50 minute therapy session.

Now idk about all you, and maybe I’m unique since I live a pretty simplistic lifestyle. But I ain’t got a bill due every fucking day of the week. Is that somehow normal or something? How does dark seem to always have to spend money as fast as he gets it?

The everlasting gobstopper of debt he continues to suck on paired with his autistic scheduling/static lifestyle (until it suits him otherwise anyway) makes me think in all probability that DSP burns through as much money as we think he does - but it can only really go to a few places and I'm no longer fully convinced he fritters it away like he used to. Not to say he doesn't treat himself for all his back-breaking work.. just not as much as he used to.

When he says the money is gone immediately I figure he's either tossing as much of it as he can onto credit card repayments.. which at this point for him seems dumb and pointless: hence why it sounds like a possible booksmart from the meme streets Phil Burnell idea. Otherwise I think he's become dedicated to an out of sight and out of mind approach, where a portion of that cash goes off the table and gets squirreled away. He's paying bills.. future bills in his own head. By this logic the money is gone and so he's forever in need of another top-up.

Back in the day he didn't have to do this and you could argue he still doesn't want to do it either. But he now he seems to live in a constant state of fear and paranoia, too scared to let the real DSP do much of the talking on stream or outside the gated community. He's so cagey these days about the fact that Twitch suspensions/bans can land fast that I'm sure he's sat and talked to their staff for hours about all the things he has to avoid out there in the minefield. He's got protection from the devil or something so I doubt we'll ever see a ban but it doesn't really matter what I think, only how he thinks about it and his recent heart clenching "I thought I said something wrong" moment is telling that he's always walking on eggshells. Makes sense to me some of this immediate vanishing cash is his way of coping with not being able to splurge it all away on himself. If we're to believe anything he says then even his own mother seemed to call him out on it by insisting whatever handout she gave him for his birthday didn't autistically go right to bills and taxes.

All in its seems like the most painful aspect in Phil's life. Not losing friends and a bond with family. Not letting his health and own mental wellbeing decline. Not losing a girlfriend he probably loved in his own manbaby way. It just burns his fucking ass up that he can't spend money like he used to and has to scrimp and save for the future like an average worthless human.

After last time with her needing to sleep downstairs on the couch by his own admission I'd be dragging his ass to the doctor, too. Possibly. He also wouldn't shut up about the cost during the Reeeemergency video either and that didn't involve him medically but for all I know the recent/impending breakup was coloring his opinion there.

It's also just possible he's lying about the whole fucking thing because Philly gonna Phil. I have no doubt that he woke up feeling like shit but that's easy to believe because I think he wakes up most if not all days feeling like shit. That's what happens when you're generally unhealthy, and he just decided to malinger. As others have fastidiously pointed out the timing of the days off compared to last year is way too suspect.
