How do you suppose Jack uses his touch-screen watch? Does he position his wrist beneath his barely functioning arm and poke at it with his sausage-like fingers, viewing the display from afar? Does he instruct Tammy to operate it on his behalf? Given its state, does it still function?

Tammy, I don't know how he could even take it off his wrist without help.

With his tongue, duh. To allow for the most precision and to ensure he catches every single drop of the nasty food-like substances that the screen inevitably gets coated with whenever he cooks for us or eats ever-so-gracefully.

This video is actually a lot better than most of his 'On The Go' episodes. No spending ages in the parking lot, actually showing off the menu and what they sell. The only problem comes from the food itself. If you're reviewing a restaurant, show off a lot of their offerings not just clam chowder and a fish sandwich!

and nothing fried!

that was the most surprising part for me

Anybody up for some private time together with Jack?

HAHAHA THE WENDIGO RISES
"I planned on doing this video before, but I ate the ribeyes. I was hungry, it was defrosted. I cooked them real quick, and I ate them."
He's doing a cast iron vs pie tin comparison... Uh ok? Who has ever cooked a steak in a pie tin in the oven? Who asked for this comparison?

He's cooking it at 250 in the oven, wtf. Who does this??
This dude cooking his steak to 144, before resting... Tells us to rest a steak from 15-30 minutes. Who rests a steak for 30 minutes???

"Medium rare" says Jack. Looks more like a well-done Golden Corral steak.
And the winner is... A steak cooked in a pie tin at 250 in the oven.

While the video isn't as lolcow as his others, it's still very trash.

"Amish steak rub"

There goes your ability to judge the flavor of the steak, Jack-o.

EDIT: Jack doesn't seem to know that you can sear a steak in a hot pan, THEN put it in the oven to finish.
You see, where you messed up was thinking that Jack knows even the most basic of cooking skills.
If it's not in a pan with a stick of butter or in a casserole dish so he can set the oven and forget about it, it is beyond Jack's expertise.

For those Kiwis not gastronomicaly inclined, you rest a steak for about 5-6 minutes prior to serving. You rest a full roast for about 10-20. Anything longer than that and you're just letting the food get cold, or worse, reintroducing bacteria back into the meat.

As for the color of the steak and the "doneness", that's medium well leaning more towards the well done side of the house. Think of it as a color scale, red is rare, pink is medium, grey is well. Anything in the spectrum between those colors are your medium rares or medium wells.

I know a lot of people ITT get annoyed by explanations like these because they're supposedly just brags about the poster's superior cooking skills, but I appreciate them. I do consider myself gastronomically inclined (great definition lol), just not when it comes to meat. Can you comment on the temperature of this steak monstrosity as well? Since his food is always raw I'm guessing it was too low?

For what he was saying the steak was (medium rare), he was actually too high this time by about 15°. A decent medium rare steak is around 130-135 before resting.

Medium Rare is about 130 degrees. He cooked this to 144, and the carry overheat probably took this to 150. So he cooked it medium-well, and the carryover heat took it to well and he says it looks medium-rare. Cooking at 250 is fine since he was trying to bring the steak to 144, it's just a weird way to cook a steak.

Exactly what Jack needs. More microwave bacon in his diet.
Starts off absolutely impressed by Montreal CHICKEN seasoning! Steak seasoning has been around for years, but chicken seasoning? This changes everything!
"If you want me to try this out, and let you know what it tastes like.... I'll let you know." Oh. Thought you were going to re-enable comments there for a sec. N/m you'll just let me know if I want you to try it out.
His problem with bacon makers is they can't hold a whole pound of bacon at a time. If you buy one, you should look to make sure it can do a whole pound at a time. Okay, lemme start working on my stroke now.
Really really harping on this not cooking a whole pound of bacon, something like this (which he cooked 6 slices of bacon at a time on) is not for a family but for "you and your husband". Freudian slip?
"We didn't get any splashing in our microwave." How much bacon are you making that there's enough grease to splash around?
Only Jack would be angry that he has to cook his pocket bacon in batches. A normal human being only eats like 4-6 strips of bacon with some other shit, but then Jack's not normal anymore. Not since his body was slowly taken over by famine ghosts at least. Also, you have one grease trap for microwave bacon, you don't need any more since they work on the same principle. Is he just too fucking lazy to clean out the grease?

Also the fact he's peacocking over the thing that's supposed to be his business while showing he does not bother to look into different spice blends is hilarious to me. Really highlights how much of a child he is given he can't even be bothered to do the research and just relies on Wifey's money.
