I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she had contacted an attorney, and he/she saw the shitshow Marchi was in and basically advised her to settle immediately. She drops them, goes to another attorney to be told the same thing. This repeats until she decides that all her legal advice has been wrong because since -twitter- doesn't hate her she can't be wrong, and thus is trying to use Twitter-Court to defend herself with.

Pretty sure Eleanor Roosevelt never cowered behind a door because she'd broken the law and was terrified to have to defend her actions in court, because she knew they were completely indefensible and she was going to lose.

Even if she does want to settle, she has to compete with Funimation to be the first to the table (to get the best deal). I very much doubt she has something to offer that's worth more than the millions of dollars that Funimation could pay to Vic. The fact that Ty has agreed to let Funimation to file its response last indicates she's losing that particular race.
I'm sure Ty would be willing to negotiate with her in good faith, but he's in a position to make her feel some pain.

There are only two possible things I think Marchi could offer that may entice Ty/Vic to agree to a settlement. She'd have to provide every bit of damning evidence to Ty in order to throw MoRon under the bus.. wait. She has to do that anyway during deposition.

Scratch that, she has ONLY ONE thing she can offer that might entice a settlement agreement: She'd have to offer a public apology, and denounce -everything- she said and basically openly admit that everything her, and MoRon have said about Vic are lies. But I don't see her opting for this, she's far too arrogant, and for some reason seems to act and think like she's untouchable. Not only that, but openly admitting that she lied in order to ruin someone's career that she didn't like means that no other company would touch her with a 50 foot pole. I mean after all this it's almost pretty obvious that Funimation is likely going to cut ties with all of the parties involved regardless since the VAs just cost them hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars in a lawsuit.
