You know? This just reminded me, the only reason I really even remember who Marzgurl is, is because she made a 3 part (or was it 4?) series on censorship of anime by 4Kids. Those videos are long long gone following the disappearance of Bliptv, but you can still find reference to it on her Wordpress site.

I almost REEEed about that as well, but I though about it for a second and I'm guessing they're there to hook lights and other holiday decorations on and they never get taken down. That's lazy, but at least understandable.

This is what happens when you fail to discipline your kids, folks. Instead of learning that attempts to avoid the switch just get you more swats, they grow up to spit in the face of their judge and get extra time in lockup.

That's not how civil cases work and this has been explained numerous times over half a dozen threads. Marchi is not under any threat of being found in contempt at this point. This has been explained numerous times in a half dozen threads. A judge might give someone some slack or a "get out the stupid situation I fucked myself into" especially if they're new to civil litigation, but she has likely trashed any good will a judge would have. At this point I can't believe it that is by anything but design. It might just be that she's being a cunty brat because that is who she is, but she is purposefully antagonizing the court for some reason.

Agreed, but it also means she's dicked herself out of any possible leeway in court. Whatever lawyer she may (or may not) get can no longer say things like "my client has been cooperative" or "my client has been honest," or "my client just wants to move past this," or "my client needs more time" or any number of charritable assumptions a judge would generally just grant for leniency/clemency.

Not that any of us are complaining!

She knows damn well she's been given a summons, and she's making light of and ignoring it.
I don't know much about the court system, but I'd imagine there are real life consequences for dodging a summons.

Long time internet psychology tells me she cares much more about how her fans see her than the real legal ramifications of her actions.

I think she's just being sassy and getting people on social media worked up. If that's the case, it seems some of you autists are being played like a fiddle by the dumbest cunt of the bunch. Nice.

She's most likely taken the paper and has been, for all effects, served. I doubt she's dumb enough to ignore a final summons and pretend she didn't get it but hey If that's actually the card she's playing, then she loses by default and I'm ok with that!

At this point, the only thing I can guess is that she believes she is Judgement Proof, meaning that even if she loses by default, they can't really take anything from her (and since it's Texas, they can't even garnish her wages). Which if that's the case, it's possible she intends to completely shoulder any part of her damages on the others in the suit, which I'm sure will go over well.
