*He made explicit posts on Twitter stating his intent to go to the 'con.
*Even if his videos were innocent or if his questions were innocent (I'm also not discounting Supergirl's automatic defense of him) he was an idiot, because even though Toronto didn't strike the hammer, they could have.

By posting details of his gayop on Twitter, including comments about how he will take Anime North down and his 'fascination'/fixation on Jamie Marchi, he raised numerous eyebrows including whether or not he might do something more than just make an ass of himself in the Con. (Yes I view him as making an ass of himself).
Marchi has done enough shit to warrant her hide nailed to the wall. Examples includeTweets tweaking the nose of the process server will not make her look good when she faces the music. This is not even counting her 'dick and balls' remark which, even if you argue hyperbole, was shitty as hell to make during a heated time, and her comments about Rekieta's halloween costume.
This idiot's gayop, including falling for the 'where are you' ploy which makes him qualify for a Darwin Award IMO, could give her lawyer some ammunition. Note: Could and I'd love to hear another take on it. Won't help her in the long run but people like Spirit make me wanna go 'Just fuckin' stop and let this play out in the courts, goddamit'.

The cops would be concerned to hear of it, even if it was down here in Freedom Land. The most they'd probably do is interview him to find out what his intentions were, and they'd make sure he understands that he'd better stay away from the con (and specifically from Jamie) or else potentially be charged with trespass and/or harassment, but still.
