Oh gee, including a comment like this. How damning.

I suppose that would've been the easier route. I'm curious how much work she is doing on this case--she seems to have zero experience in this realm of lawyering. Her resume actually comes up in google searching.
I disagree, her art law experience seems to dip into it.

CLE Moderator, Art Law Reboot: A Discussion About Art Law Topics Related to Video Games and New Media Art, Dallas Bar Association, April 19, 2016

New media would likely count all the crap related to this case; coupled with her general biz law work, it looks like she'd at least be a lot more specialized in this realm than the average bizlaw jag.

Excellent. So Funimations response is due June 10th and Marchi's on June 17th. That spells guaranteed amusement for several more weeks until the TCPA is filed and there is probably 90 days of ho hum.
I believe Ty has an agreement with Funimation to allow their response after Marchi’s is in.

She may just be the only person there who can do screen shots and preserve things and not completely boomer it up.

Why the fuck would someone warn a neckbeard dude about Vic?

"Bans at some point" What does that even mean. You either ban someone permanently, until the ban is lifted, or they're not banned. Saying Vic was banned at AX 2014, but not other Anime Expos, is a bizarre argument.

It means LOOK AT MEEEEEEEEEE PAY ATTENTION TO MEEEEEEEEEEE I R IMPORTANT, like everything else this freakshow says or does.

"Vic has been banned at this con. But only for this one year, they invite him other years."

Bitch, that's not a ban, that's a scheduling conflict ya Loony Troon. The only convention there that -might- have been woke enough to entirely ban Vic is Anime Detour, but then I'm more likely leaning towards the fact they don't have the money to afford Vic's costs.

So here are (allegedly) cons that have banned Vic.
Seems to tally with Vic's con schedule, but that doesn't mean much. Lots of them seem to be simply scheduling conflicts and him choosing to vary his con attendance each year.

For example, he didn't attend tekko every year after 2007, but it looks like several of his other cons clashed with the dates for that con.
2008 the con came right before he was heading out to hawaii.
2009, the con clashes with supanova brisbane.
He was at tekko in 2010.
2011 has no clash.
2012 he's in the UK, in Birmingham (poor sod).
2013 no clash.
2014 he was in Hawaii on the same date as tekko.
2015 he'd just got back from saudi arabia and was due in louisiana the day tekko ended.
2016 no clash.
2017 clashed with anime matsuri
2018 he was at tekko
2019 he was at kamehacon

From this it's obvious that tekko didn't ban him. Each of these years he has a very full convention schedule, so it's only natural he'd want to vary things up and leave gaps instead of attending the same conventions every year. He also needs to do VA work in between raping random con attendees and eating their babies.

It's so easy to refute these people with the simplest google search.

E: Cougared. Dammit.

Supposing you wanted to settle this dispute over deposition order in a favorable way or at least something that a judge could agree to, do you think Ty proposing that the depositions taking place on three consecutive days with one of the defendants being deposed first, Vic second, and the final defendant third would be a suitable compromise that would come across as reasonable to the judge as well as being difficult for Casey to refuse?

I don't think Ty really gives a fuck if Vic is deposed first, he just doesn't want Vic to be deposed and then Casey immediately files the anti-slapp triggering a stay so Ty can't depose the defendants until the motion is ruled on. Which is exactly what they are trying to do.

In Case anyone's interested (https://animecons.com/guests/bio/517/vic-mignogna) Vic's convention list for the past 15 years. On it will you notice several contradictions to this carbon-producer's statements.
Went to tekko again in '10 and '18

Never went to an Acen in 05 or ever apparently

On and off at ohoyocan seems to mean he was never banned

Can't find an Anime Detour anywhere there

So that leaves Anime expo 14, Otokon 17 and Anime boston 05. Considering he hardly goes to the same cons every year it will be hard to say 14 and 17 are even suspicious.

Hey maybe he was banned from Boston 05, or maybe he decided not to go back because they fucked something up that one time, or maybe it's something unrelated that has nothin to do with anything.

Evidence seems to be that Vic hasn't been back since ergo must be banned.

IIRC Anime Boston isnt very keen on inviting the same guest more than once. All of the New England conventions are run in accordance to the MCCA policy.

From what I also hear from former staff members at Anime Boston is that the people who run that con are close with the people that run Otakon. Anime Boston staff are also on the woke train with their head of security being an exceptional sperg.

I remember when nick said that when the lawsuits were filed things would slow down but we have gotten so much content despite that. How is it that every single new player in kickvic are this exceptional? Jesus Fucking christ its like this thing either attracts or converts people into absolute dumbasses

So all I'm seeing here is basically Casey is using this time to try and pull nick into the lawsuit while ignoring the fact that Ty was clearly okay with Vic going first under rule 11 (gentleman's agreement) only on the condition of not filing TCPA till after his defendants went.
Guess it's hard for Casey considering he just ignored that >.>
Also how is it disingenuous when they only talk about what everyone else could easily find? the 400 tweets should still be on MoRons twitter page lol
Also anyone got a TL:DR of the files? like just the overall excuses he made?

It's to be expected. Their exceptionalism and inability to keep their mouth shut is what got them into this situation in the first place.
