Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the assertion her lawyer is using already the one that Vic himself used in his petition, therefore shifting the burden of proof onto her?

AKA a game of fuck you hot potato.

Regardless of general denial being allowed as a response, the overwhelming evidence is there and she's at the forefront of this, it's just annoying that she's employing this tactic rather than just settling. Why the fuck isn't anyone settling yet.

Glad the judge ruled to TCPA until after MoRon were deposed as well. Could they still file the TCPA before Vic is deposed to avoid theirs? I also hope MoRon aren't exceptional enough to fake sick to delay their required disposition after Vic's.

Her lawyer does seem to know how to write a response without seeming like a complete sperg, though I will suspect he will have his work cut out for him explaining her "Dick and Balls" comment or why she was dodging service. Then again, he does have the "Superlawyer" distinction, so maybe he will show himself to be one in his following filings.

Also, he seems to know how to format his document so that he doesn't have BIG FUCKOFF LETTERS at the bottom of every document. Maybe he should tell Casey.

If this dude is even somewhat competent at what he does there is good chance that he will give up or go crazy when he tries to explain to her why settling is her best opinion and she just replies to his email with a sassy Beyonce gif

The act of filing it stays discovery immediately by operation of law. It isn't up to the judge.

We don't know what's going on with Funimation yet but I think with the sheer amount of evidence out there against Ron and Monica, the best course of action would be to apologize and hand over everything that hangs these lunatics out to dry.

Sounds like everything went about as well as it could have. So we've got some stuff to look forward to in the early parts of June.
