Vic's been announced for Comic Con IRL in Dublin, and immediately has KickVic'ers responding:

(this last one was a link to one of the ann articles, archived tweet doesn't look quite right)

Apparently this person had a trader table there that they've cancelled because of Vic:

These KickVic'ers seem to be new to the conversation or at least I haven't seen them before - I'll dig through their timeline and see if there's any obvious connection.

EDIT: they've never said "Vic" or used the KickVic hashtags before - also they both appear to be Irish - their timelines go back a long way including commentary on stuff to do with being in Ireland.

EDIT2: continuing to update with more archives - Octopus_Angel's response is of particular note as her reason that the con should drop Vic is that funimation and RT have dropped him.

EDIT3: this is a lot of different people instantly opposed, has PULL told all their members to kick up a stink?

EDIT4: It's not on PULL and google can't find me any other public organisation, this looks like a privately organised stink, OR a purely spontaneous action by anti-Vic individuals who happen to have seen this announcement.

Ty has publicly implied, imo, that he views the depositions as almost being perjury traps, in that he thinks Ron is going to lie, and he intends to ask the matter be referred to a prosecutor when he does. I think Ron will commit perjury, too. I think he's that stupid. Apparently, Ty thinks he's so stupid he will do that even after being told publicly exactly what will happen if he does and repeatedly being caught and proven to be lying in public with publicly available information. He's just that much of a fuckup and a cuck.

Actually, I think the opposite effect will happen. Ron acts tough knowing nothing can happen to him. It's why he threatened Nick while his account was private. I bet when deposition happens, I think he will crack and breakdown confessing to literally everything. He won't have Monica and Sabat filling him with sweet nothings to assure his safety (remember he uses smiles as a coping mechanism). Ron is not the brightest tool and a terrible liar so him being thrown into the spotlight is most likely going to end the Rial and Toye lawsuit. The man has to name all 100 women who were assaulted by Vic or pretty much get proven he's a damn liar and nothing that comes from his mouth is true at all. Not good to be proven a liar in front of a judge especially on a case against you where you are lying about a person in a way that damages them.

I just don't understand why this lawsuit is still going on. Putting a gun up to your head and shooting yourself hoping you live is more intelligent than whatever these people are doing. Sabat and RT are celebrating because their stupidity lets them get the hell out of this. Actually if I was in Sabat's shoes, I cheer them on hoping to win. Not because they will but because it drains Vic's bank account and I want these people out of my life. Also, I can only imagine what Funi will do after seeing the clown show that is Toye's deposition.

Back when the suit was filed Ty stated that they intend to add 2 other parties - Iago and Igor, to this lawsuit - he didn't give a timescale, but I guess he meant after initial discovery.

If so the amount that is or isn't revealed next week could determine whether Iago and Igor one of whom may be Sabat is served shortly after (speculation based off of minimal comments from Ty).

Was wondering, since Josh Grelle was brought up in the Monica thread. Would the KamehaCon ditchers (Wiedenheft, Daman Mills, Josh Grelle and the one guy I can't remember the name of) be on the hook for anything? They obviously broke contract with KamehaCon (though we don't know if KamehaCon just decided to cut losses and mutually terminated the contract) but can they be on the hook for, say, TI? Daman's and Wiedenheft's emails clearly said they wouldn't be there unless KC broke contract with Vic.

I mean, I doubt their worth it to go after, but I was just curious.

It's likely just Renfamous' little gang, especially since she's openly tagging people to get them to pile on. Pointless, since obviously the con has already decided to have Vic despite all the bullshit.

My understanding (which could be wrong) would be that:
1. Kamehacon could theoretically sue them for breach of contract - question of whether it's worth the effort - small claims court perhaps?
2. Vic could sue them for TI - again question of it's worth the effort unless they did something else as well - their attempt to get him ousted from Kamehacon failed so the damages would be rather small.

Let's go. We can do it:

If Casey lets this happen, he should have his license pulled. Mr "super lawyer" shouldn't have even let it get this far.

Casey just appears to be along for the ride and as long as their checks keep cashing he'll do whatever stupid shit they want, especially if it nets him plenty of billable hours. I'm certain that he's smart enough to have covered his own ass and will be able to point to plenty of times where he's advised his clients to the best option but was ultimately forced to acquiesce to their wishes.

I don't think anyone could bring themselves to care for Ron on a personal level given how much of an exceptional cuck he is, and that's just on top of the fact that anyone with as much information as Casey has would have to know that their client is not only screwed, but actually guilty of everything they're being accused of by the plaintiff. It's still his duty as a lawyer to represent Ron and provide legal advice, but if Ron wants to go running naked through a mine field after being told not to, there's not much that can be done about it.

I have a feeling that Casey will have stories he tells to other lawyers for the rest of his life as a result of taking this case.

First, there was that German KickVic tard that @Yuusha-sama brought to our attention, now the Irish KickVic Brigade has been riled up by Renfamous.
So much for keeping this controversy contained in North America.
I have a feeling that 1 million dollars Vic is asking for is not enough for the long term damage.
It just means that Ren is more liable to a lawsuit. Smash her and her influence, and many things will become apparent.
If Renfamous is the one encouraging people to go harass the con, I’m pretty sure that’s a reportable offense on Twitter
Depending on how many bans she has eaten, it could become permanent, though it never deters these assholes from breaking the rules.
