How in the fuck is mauling Vox's reach on youtube (and inevitably, the ad revenue generated there, and elsewhere) going to generate more income that Vox can use to give raises with? I'm a fucking idiot, but I see a clear connection between "if Vox makes less money from advertising" and "then Vox will have less income with which to pay employees".

How the heck does attacking crowder's channel effect Vox's channel's income?

I think I parsed the Tism, so I'll see if I understand it well enough to explain it.

- WinkWonk and his bunch of socialist bitch-made friends at Vox have formed a "union" (the legality of the formation, or whether it was correctly formed are unknown to me)
- They all want raises and health care and other completely exceptional shit
- Somehow, they think that attacking ad revenue and being known to have the ability to cause such attacks is a a bargaining wedge/big stick they can use in negotiating for the shit they've exceptionally demanded from Vox
- This is 100% not going to backfire and result in their physical removal from Vox, and balcklisting from similar employers, in their drug and fag-bug-infected minds

It's more like a government empowered to regulate any part of the marketplace will eventually abuse that power and become a bigger problem than the issue they were "fixing." But since justice isn't swift enough when it's crowdsourced in a decentralized system, people just eventually give up and demand a centralized authority handle it for them. Because we're short-sighted chimps.

The plot twist, though, is when government colludes in fascistic fashion with private business. We're seeing a lot of that with companies like Google. And that's that's truly terrifying.
