Also, while Ravenloft was pretty cool, that's comparing apples to oranges. Dragonlance is the best traditional fantasy-style setting with Drizzt Do'Urdon original trilogy following closely behind.

For D&D, the least gay thing the have for a setting is probably FR, but 4E, in it's entirety is probably the most horrifyingly terrible RPG ruleset ever created, being that it was entirely designed for the most offensively incompetent fucks to ever think they could play an RPG. I have more respect for JRPG faggots, than I do for the people that were in the 4E focus groups that helped that abortion see the light of day.

And for lore, I probably like 40k best, but specific the really gritty First & Only stuff, and the Ciaphas Cain stuff. For gaming, I still prefer 3.5/Pathfinder.

Wasn't a huge fan of the Drizz't books until Salvatore stopped writing him as a complete Mary Sue, and started writing vastly deeper stories for the characters. I think I almost prefer his other books, the ones about the crystal-toting monks from Honce-The-Bear, although it wasn't supremely memorable, either.

OT: I genuinely don't give a single shit about what people do in the privacy of their homes (or some reasonable facsimile of a private environment), provided no children or animals are involved... but even as someone storngly supportive of individual rights, I'm really tired of every "marginalized group" demanding more and more asspats and special treatment.
