Ah yes, go the way of low quality Steam indie developers (who later got their games removed on Steam for low quality) by responding to those that criticise the game for having low performance issues by criticising their PCs no matter how great they are.

"You need to get a job"
That's fucking rich coming from him

That's right kids his Easter egg meme game is for Adults with high end PCs only

(Even though in those youtube videos he's referencing the fps is all over the place going from 60 to 43 because I walked to a different bench)

Yknow Alex the whole gimmick of an indie game is that it's easily accessible and easy on low end machines

You elitist troglodyte

Wait did he just call Yansim "graphically intensive" :story:
The graphics on Yansim aren't bad but to call it graphically intensive is a really far stretch especially there's a lot of games that did far better in that department.

And even then you can run these graphically intensive games on 60 FPS compared with Yansim.

It's also really shabby shorthand for him to equate performance with visuals rather than computational demands. People play online games, they understand CPU-heavy processes and everybody knows games like CSGO, Planetside 2, Dwarf Fortress, etc that have a lot going on in the background that causes it to run poorly. Alex shifting the blame to "graphics", "tracking students", etc is a pretty disturbing sign that he views a lot of things in his game as hard-limitations because he doesn't understand and refuses to learn/seek help from people who know how to optimise these processes.

"Which means you first need to be old enough to work a job, which makes sense, because Yandere Sim should only be played by adults."
It always cracks me up watching him dismiss his underage demographic and insist that his game is for adults only these days considering how salty he got when Patreon (correctly) tagged his totally-not-M-rated, meme game under adult content last year. Thanks for reassuring us all that you still have no concrete idea of this game's identity despite wasting over five years of your life on it Alex.

Alpha indicates it might go through the usual optimisation on its path to completion. Alex's programming nous appears to cap out at the proof-of-concept stage.

Not to mention his game doesn't even LOOK like it deserves a NASA computer's hardware to run its internal logic.

That's not even the first time he's over inflated the "importance" of his glorified edgy sandbox builds.

On a side note there are claims that on the discord server he replies to posts that he doesn't like in a way that would be over the top if it wasn't Alex the guy who made a character based on the part of the fanbase that he finds "useless".

The difference Alex is Far Cry is intensive due to the heavy lift the graphics engine and cpu make to render the high quality models, animations, and locations. Your dumpsterfire is intensive because your shit is unoptimized out of incompetence.

I'm glad you "only" make 2.5-3k per month now rather than the 5k you used to you incompetent NEET.

Yansim is so far gone that even if he replaced the environmental models with box rooms and character models with floating untextured cubes, it still wouldn't run amazingly on many systems. He made a game that needs to track a lot of movements, actions, and data over a session without knowing how to do much more than throw 3D models and a few animations together.

Let's not forget: Far Cry also has competent programmers or at least has people that are able to make it run smooth at low graphics quality. Yandere Simulator on the other hand is just Alex himself with all the programming incompetence he throws into it.
