T. Greg Doucette / Thomas Gregory Doucette / greg_doucette / TGDLaw / fsckemall / lawdevnull / TDot - Super Lawyer, Failed Politician, Captain of The Threadnought, Drowning in Debt

I would go as far and would call him a shyster and a crook. The guy has an active GFM running with over 9000 dollars begged from people for a cpap machine which is 3000 dollars or even less. In my book not closing his GFM after he reached his goal is fraudulent.
Him not able to afford a cpap machine on his own also speaks volumes about his competence and his business success.
It's not just that which stands out to me, it's also the fact that he is neither married nor does he have kids (as far as I am aware). It would be one thing if he had a wife and kids to take care of and was putting his money towards their schooling, but as far as I know, he's not. He gets to keep his money, and even then, he can't afford it, in spite of his "Superlawyer" title.

Oh it is free speech. It's just also a tort.

Turns out speech sometimes has consequences.
Apparently Nicks found a pretty similar case.

He's a bald low-T fedora wearing idiot with a twitter addiction and an asian girlfriend. He's a living stereotype of a guy that would raise his wife/girlfriend's children. Just a few more years without marrying her and he will.

They have someone called Ad Hoc on YouTube doing a 55 min breakdown of the Vic case in their favour. The guy claims to be a lawyer, but never says his name or law firm, and looks like a stereotypical neckbeard.

Anyone know if this guy is a lawyer...or willing to watch 55 mins of boring legal analysis?

I watched part of this video, fast forward. I think I can make a resume. The guy said "Vic will have to prove that he's not a public figure. And he's going to lose on all fronts. The only chance he has would be to show that the allegations made against him were made with the knowledge that they were false, and that the accused would have managed to harm him." ( https://youtu.be/cOvK9aYMlow?t=1720 ).

Yeah I know.... Like... he should go to court to make a case ?

It's obvious he believes that there's lot of "victims"

Lot of it revolve around : "Vic is public figure", "Vic has to proove statements are false", "he is a public figure beccause: you become a public figure when at a vortex of controversy" : https://youtu.be/cOvK9aYMlow?t=1413

And beccause he his public figure he has to prove wrong -> so many victims cannot be wrong -> no defamation -> no TI -> etc

But still no firm to link neckbeard to?

Unless.......you know......there was a meeting of minds to plan out this course of defamatory action. A conspiracy, if you will.
If only there were a tort that covered this sort of behavior.....
Why does everyone keep forgetting the text messages that proved toye threatened a con along with his fiancé to pull their funding and appearances? I mean seriously that alone is a smoking gun what else is there to debate?

You have to remember that Douchette is new to the KickVic fiasco. He knows virtually none of the backstory, and by his own admission he hasn't even read all of the court documents, and when a lawyer who is actually involved in the case offered to bring him up to speed, he refused.
He's just an uninformed, egotistical dipshit who sees KickVic as an opportunity to get upcummies on Twitter. This became painfully obvious when he bragged about the 6.1 gorillion impressions he's gotten since he threw his fedora into the ring.

Nick said it on his stream last night but it's hilarious how true it is. This guy is everything the KickVic side has called Nick in their effort to discredit him and his opinions, but since Douche agrees with them none of that shit matters. Knowing the KickVic side it isn't surprising to see double standards or hypocrisy but this is a shamelessly blatant example you can do nothing but laugh at.

to be honest I think it's just a tad misleading to say you're doing "pro bono" work then crowdfunding it. Rackets has offhandedly mentioned him doing it a few times and I would wager the superchats are filling in the gaps to allow him to do it, but he isn't saying "give me superchats so I can help out poor people who need legal defense"

edit: i'll crack one open with you fuck it

I mean, technically it's pro bono so long as the client isn't the one paying for it.

that is why I said just a tad. I know this is a personal opinion but I think the term implies you're taking the financial loss to represent someone in some righteous way. he is taking the clout with none of the payment
