I feel it's pretty racist that these people assume that NO ONE in the room would possibly be POC. There are people who are light-skinned but the moment they talk they give away what country or region they reside in due to their accent or speaking patterns. It's entirely possible, but then again, if you aren't brown enough I guess you aren't a POC....

Which is hilariously stupid since I'm not a fan of Neocon Don on so many levels but he's never invaded random countries and started tons of wars which are fucking over the world to this day (and still costing Americans billions). The rehabilitation of GW Bush is utterly bizarre when there is a serious argument to be made that the only reason Bush isn't the worst president ever is because Pierce, Buchanan, and Andrew Johnson were presidents too. In the POC pyramid, I've noticed that East Asians can "flip flop" on the "oppression scale" with SJWs.
Like in our modern standards, they're considered "non white" and "POCs" but historically, in the 16th and 17th centuries, East Asians were consistently described as being "white people" because of their pale skin. It wasn't until more recent times when Europeans decided to start saying they were "non-white" or "yellow" or "Oriental" or whatever terminology there is.
In South Africa for example, they gave their East Asian immigrants (like the Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese and South Koreans) the title of being "honorary white people", giving them almost all the rights/"cool stuff" that "white" people (in our modern definition) would get while other PEE-OH-SEE would still be seen as bottom of the barrel.
And in the West, I'd argue many favour East Asians because they're seen as generally more productive, successful and hard working as opposed to African Americans, Latinos and the like. Oh and many East Asians are pretty racist to blacks and darker skinned people.
All of which I've seen being used as "arguments" "questioning" East Asians "rank" in the "POC hierarchy".
