I’m leaning towards fake. He wrote that he stood there blinking, but if I remember correctly, Russel’s actually incapable of blinking because of his condition. I don't believe it was Russ who wrote the reviews (the hand job thing and the encounter with the hooker thing). I don't know how to express it in words, but it isn't him. It doesn't ''feel'' like him. After many years reading about this fucker, I can kind of tell when someone is trying to impersonate him. (Hell, even I can do a very nice Russ impersonation after reading too much into his plights). I already mentioned it, but I'm pretty good at reading people and this time, I feel something's off. Just a gut feeling.

For example, Russ would never (I can assure you guys about this) use the term ''slug'' to refer to himself. He also would never put the hooker in a better light than him. That's just him, and the person impersonating him wasn't careful enough with little terms.

I have to agree. Russ has a super distinctive writing style and manner in which he talks about himself and others. You see it even in his confirmed older stuff like the Mile High Manifesto and the "Suck me my penis" thing.

The tone and style of these reviews just strikes me as "off" like maybe it's some turbosperg lurking the thread and working off a checklist of Russ-isms. Except for "plights." Didn't see that once. Russ tends to have a condescending tone, but decent punctuation and grammar, and tries to sound classier than he is.

There's no way that Yelp account belongs to Russell. The mental image of him eating a whole pack of Oreos (with milk!) in one sitting is too funny to be unintentional.

The writing isn't perfectly Greer-like, but it's a nice effort. Whoever wrote those reviews did a good job.

I remember when XYRichard was catfishing the fuck out of him, I had to pause every other paragraph and try to digest what I was reading. After some point, I just could tell what would be Russ next response, and sure enough, the next paragraph would be almost identical of what I thought it would be.

Nice effort of whoever wrote the reviews, but somewhat pointless. Better let Russ produce his own milk, he must delay it, but he always delivers at the end.

However, the fact that there are brothel reviews dating from 2013 and 2014 on that account means there's a strong possibility that Russhole did, in fact, write the recent reviews as well. Russhole hadn't reached lolcow status yet in 2013, so he hadn't attracted the attention of any would-be w.e.e.n.s or trolls back then. Therefore, there'd be no reason for one of them to set up a fake Yelp account in his name to mess with him at that time. News reports about Russhole suing Taylor Swift didn't come out until the end of 2016, and our own thread about him didn't exist until May 2017.

Now that @SwiftlyRuiningRussell has confirmed that those 2013 and 2014 reviews were posted on his old Facebook account, it seems almost undeniable that the Yelp reviews are straight from the narc's mouth after all. There's an outside chance that some current troll or w.e.e.n found a way to get into Russhole's long inactive Yelp account and decided to post a bunch of fake reviews in the hopes of someone on the Farms/Reddit/Facebook noticing them and reporting on them. However, considering that Yelp account wasn't on any Russell Greer watcher's radar (since it hadn't been used since 2014), I don't see that being a very likely scenario.

Yeah, I don't know. I'm more inclined to believe he somehow edited out the earlier reviews than that this was Russell, as far-fetched as it may be. The reviews read like good Russell fiction. A quality and funny re-enactment, but no way in hell would he admit of giving his gay friend a handjob for gas money.
