I'm skeptical of this claim about that old image of Vic being Photoshopped. I'm just not seeing it.

There's a strategy I use for visual art where I take an image and then equalize each channel in varying colorspaces to generate neat false-color versions of a photo. One of the strengths of this strategy is that it occasionally makes inconsistencies very plain. This analysis is not showing anything atypical in the image. I don't find the error-level analyses very persuasive here.

I've attached a few different colorspaces to show the kind of details this equalization technique pulls out of the image. Left to right, these colorspaces are xyY, HSI, RGB, YUV.

Stopped being a lurker faggot to point out that you’re all trying to forensics a picture of a printed picture, when all you had to do was realize that while we’re under the impression Vic has a third leg, it doesn’t drop down to his calves.

Doing this to a picture of a printed picture is almost as illogical as the blue whale taking a screen cap of a screen cap and being so surprised that fotoforensics shows it’s a screenshot that you think BHBH logo is photoshopped to his wall.

Like, look at the angles of everything. everyone is facing a different way, turning to the camera, yet all look oriented towards the camera and straight on. its.... just fucking bizzare and bothers me on an autistic level.

I first heard rumors about Vic around '04/'05. I heard it from friends, who heard it from friends, who heard it from- well, I'm sure you get the idea. I've never met anyone who hadn't heard the rumors at least three times removed from the "source". And whats more, at the time, every time I'd heard anyone whispering about the guy, it was just the "He's a Diva and not nice to the con staff" stuff. I'd never heard anyone complain about hugging until the beginning of this year.

Some fujos complained about him being a homophobe and a creep, but that never gained any traction as Funimation voice actors actually defended him. I remember J Michael Tatum called him a friend and said nice things about him, but I don't remember the details (I really need to find a source for that).

I don't know what the fuck happened that gave those voice actors an edge to destroy Vic 4 years later. My bet is 2016.

It's been tossed around that Gen Fukunaga (former head of Funimation, and an outspoken Christian) was protecting Vic - either actively or simply by his status.

This idiot took an actual photo, took a pic of it, and shopped in Vic without bothering to take out the extra leg. There was no fucking reason to go doing ELA tests, or color analyses, or any other shit. He's got an extra leg. It's fake.

I first heard about it around 5 years ago on Encyclopedia Dramatica.

It’s probably the brown background of whatever the original source picture was that they took the body from since that’s where the gap between his legs are the way he’s standing and if it was some obscure pic of Vic that’s not easily found that could also be the leg of whoever was originally there.

It's possible it's the part of his leg where the shadow isn't hitting, but the lines are still wrong on his right (our left) leg next to that bit. Then there's the whole floating wall.



That pattern extends about a foot or more past the end of the fireplace, yet doesn't extend to the floor. There's just a black void between the fireplace and Vic's leg, so what's supporting the top half of that wall? Is it just freely hanging there? Can't claim it's lighting either when on the other side of Vic, you can see a gray background.

There's a few minor things I noticed, too, that don't make sense, like missing pixels up by his ear.
