His worst misjudgement so far has been to reveal that he thinks the Bright IP is "my Star Wars". You can at least somewhat understand the twisted logic that leads to raping people, but this just shows he has no understanding of writing or quality, and is essentially unqualified for his job.
I remember some cryptic tweets last year from Hannah Marks about not being able to speak about her 'Me Too' story. At the time she was friends with Landis and was starring in that Dirk Gently show.
Shortly after she scrubbed him from her social media and doesn't seem to interact with him at all, were as before he was regularly mentioned on her twitter/IG.
@Eggman's Ghost, do you have any way to verify any of this?
Anyways, I guess I just want people to know this so this fucktard stops making a cool $50 mil a year when he's not only one of the most genuinely horrible people I've ever had the displeasure of meeting, but also when he's as bad as his fucking job as he is, too. All his scripts are garbage and I want him to go away forever. I have more I can say if people care at all.
Gonna end this with this fun screen of a blind item from crazydaysandnights, posted 4 days ago:
What the fuck is this crossover. Has she mentioned him before or is she lying?
x-post from Rebecca Gerber's thread
Both Rebecca Gerber and Max Landis attended school together at the University of Miami. She claims that she turned him down and as a result, he tried to destroy her friendships. She also claims that Max didn't come up with the ideas for Chronicle and that she knew the people that did.

So she's publicly announced on her personal account that she intends to make an anonymous post about Max?![]()
Whitney Moore condemns ex Max Landis for 'horrific, inhumane things'
Actress Whitney Moore, 29, has publicly accused writer Max Landis, also 29, of doing 'horrific, inhumane things' to her during their relationship, in a damning tweet with a screenshot of a note shared on Tuesday.www.dailymail.co.uk
Actress Whitney Moore has publicly accused writer Max Landis of doing 'horrific, inhumane things' to her during their relationship.
Moore, 29, did not elaborate on what Landis, also 29, did but the tweet she posted on Tuesday was damning, nonetheless.
Of the man who is the son of director, screenwriter, actor, and producer John Landis, she said: 'I'm sorry I ever made him seem safe by my association with him, even peripherally,' adding: 'But let me be clear: he is not a safe person to be around.'
DailyMail.com left a message seeking comment from Landis with his entertainment attorney Howard Abramson, which was not immediately returned.
With the screenshot, Moore, who appeared in the 2018 show Thrashtopia, in the wrote, 'a dam has been broken,' and opened up about what it was like for her to date Landis.
'I never thought I would say anything publicly about the things Max Landis did to me because I believed that forgiveness was the correct way to heal,' Moore said.
'I even defended him, for so long, because I truly believed he was getting better and that the ways he tortured me was isolated to our relationship. I thought there was no point in sharing the horrific, inhumane things he did to me because publicly condemning someone who is working on themselves is unproductive.
'Now I know that this was a lie; he never got any better. He hid behind his friendship with me and several other good people so he could continue hurting people behind closed doors and not be questioned.'
Moore promised in the tweet to share more specifics about what she said she endured at the hands of Landis, who wrote the movie Bright starring Will Smith, at a later date.
'I have more to say, and will be doing so anonymously because the things he did to me are too humiliating for me to feel ok having my name attached to them, and I never want a person associating him with me EVER,' she said.
It's not clear what prompted Moore's post, but Anna Akana, who was part of Landis's YouTube film, Wresting Isn't Wrestling, retweeted Moore's post and then tweeted herself, 'Believe women.'
Landis' father, John, is best known for directing National Lampoon's Animal House, An American Werewolf in London and Michael Jackson's music video for Thriller.
I don't like Max Landis either, but I'm gonna be very suspicious of this until there's irrefutable proof of what she says actually happened. Especially since Whitney Moore's most well known role is in Birdemic. There's a good chance she's after attention or money since Max's dad is John Landis, the director of several classic movies.
