maybe rare will probably release the next banjo kazooie game to all platforms (nintendo switch, ps4, xbox one, and PC steam) instead of just xbox. if microsoft allows it though.

smashbros.com has four ??? slots for DLC underneath BK (who don't have a fighter page yet) so maybe soft confirmation of more DLC after this, or more characters separate from the Fighter Pack.

I'm very happy to see Banjo and Kazooie again. I'd prefer it be with a remake or new game than with being in Smash but I'll take what I can get.

So far the DLC is 1/3 for me so let's see if I only end up buying one of these guys.

I'm hoping for a remake, I tried to play Banjo-Kazooie and DK64 again a few years back and found them kinda boring. They were amazing in their time, but I think aged poorly.

More than DQ Hero, I'm really excited to see what Square is including in it. They seemed tight assed on Final Fantasy content in the base game, and I'm hoping with Dragon Quest content we'll get a bunch of stuff to fill out Final Fantasy as well.

That did actually remind me of a fighter I could get really excited for, which is some sort of Final Fantasy 1-6 representation. I really like the idea of a Four Warriors of Light fighter like the Pokemon Trainer, where everytime you use a B move it switches party members to represent turn based combat.

I'll probably just have to try and be happy with a Dark Cecil Mii Sword Fighter or Black Mage Mii Wizard, if I get anything at all.

I don't think anyone actually wants Rare to make a new Banjo. They just want a new Banjo. Then again with how Battletoads turned out, maybe Kinect Sports Ltd. is the lesser of two evils...

It is very strange to me that Microsoft hasn't put their foot down and ordered a Banjo remake ala Crash and Spyro. It would sell fucking gangbusters as long as it stayed as true to the originals as those did. It seems like at this point they'd even be willing to port it to the Switch. The game would reach its core audience and MS would pick up a fuckton of sales they'd miss otherwise.

Well, it's a pipe dream regardless. It's just nice to see them again.
