I don't know the exact Twitch rule, but there apparently are rules about streamers not being allowed to talk shit on each other. There was that one time Phil insulted a streamer and said something about his physical looks; his purple hair and beard. That got Phil a suspension which IIRC was supposed to last a week or so, but Phil talked to someone and got it knocked down to 24 hours or so. So I'm confident the rule exists, but I don't know its specifics.

Edit: Or it could just be Twitch staff being inconsistent with their rules/ToS. Because if the Twitch staff are reliable at one thing, it's being unreliable.

Twitch is run worse than YouTube, they only got lucky they got the first-mover advantage of live game streaming. I saw a YouTube content creator once who said in a video explaining why he doesn't want to move to Twitch when his fans asked. His answer boils down to YouTube at least being a dick to everyone equally (mostly) when they make rulings while Twitch is only a dick to people not on their favorites list, with favored creators free to run afoul of Twitch's ToS without any repercussions.

This is very true of Phil. Some Twitch moderator is looking out for him so GoutLord can shit on other streamers without penalties.

It's just so fucking amazing how long Phil is just being allowed on the same platform. The same platform where he has on record mocked not only ninja and pewdie, then ProJared(who was/is also apart of the platform) AND fucking Dr. D of all people, and still be allowed to sit there and routinely feint distress financially and get away with it. Boggles my fucking mind.

He want's to talk all this shit about how youtube is fucked up and then just sits there accepting so many free jail-free cards from twitch. It's so absurd.

So let me get this straight: DSP took a dump on fellow streamer Dr Disrespect, literally calling him, and I quote, a "complete fucking moron" and "the biggest moron on Twitch", and somehow his channel wasn't displaying this notification within 15 minutes?

How? No, really... how?

Whose dick did he suck to be able to use his Twitch channel as a place to broadcast his toxic, jealousy-fuelled rants, while other streamers are getting bans for the most vague and accidental shit? And he's saying this shit about people who are on the same goddamn payroll as he is, mind you. How is Twitch as a company able to keep a straight face with all the "Oh, but you need to behave like a decent person if you want to be part of the Twitch family"-bullshit when you have someone like DSP spewing his negativity all over the place in full consciousness on an almost daily basis?

I don't

I don't even

He talked shit about some one who walked into a public bathroom multiple times and filmed LIVE. If you think Twitch is penalizing anyone for lighting Dr's ass up you're incredibly desperate and naïve.

There was a streamer couple of years ago who got banned just for talking about some thot who flashed her vag on stream, tbf.

Just like @Kheapathic said, Twitch is extremely unreliable when it comes to their rules and bans.

Phil said his job is mentally exhausting and harder than many physical labor jobs.

Wait what? What does he do after work? IMG_3023.jpg

Which is probably what Phil thinks as well.
Ackack, Jared and Dr are down, now it's my time to shine in a absolute safety. See, I'm the good guy, gimme money.

There may be some contact that streamers like Phil and Wings have, but they only have it as long as they're profitable for Twitch. I maintain there will be a day when the company narrative changes and they'll want to be rid of beggars, or some other reason, and they're booted likely for something relatively insignificant.
Phil and the rest of the e-beggars will jump ship the moment they announce they're going paid-service only, which they will as soon as Bezos gets sick of them not turning enough if a profit.

On a side note since I saw some car discussion earlier.

I pulled the Kelly Blue Book value for a base 2017 Corolla, I'm not sure what trim he had so I just went with the bare minimum. They're not letting me edit the mileage and using ~36k miles as the default for valuing the car... I doubt Phil has put 5k miles on it from what we remember on the leased BMW timeline. Regardless it's a better selling point with less mileage.

His trade in value to a dealership came in at give or take ~$12k
The private party sales price came in at $14k-$15k varying on condition

After taxes / transactional costs / time etc. he'd be able to walk away with $8k-$9k in cash and have $5k in cash to find someone's nice 10-15 year old car that has been garage kept and maintained. If you're patient you'd easily be able to cherry pick a great car within a month's time.

I don't know what the lie is with Khet needing the Corolla for work, pretty sure we confirmed that the Subaru is still available. Kind of funny too because during all those winter storms you'd figure she'd use a car with a much better all wheel drive system for snow roads. But whatever, this is the same people with the logic of owning a new car when you only have 1 day dedicated to leave the house every week.

Sit on his couch like a sausage, watching his chat to see if anyone talks shit about him.

That was hilarious. He flopped back like he had just finished a marathon cardio session.

He bought the Corolla new. If he traded it in, he'd still owe the balance on the loan. Further, the Subaru belonged to Kat's ex--she was probably just on his insurance.

Streamers can talk stuff about other streamers, but they have to be careful about their attack.

Phil's defacto insults, "stupid fucking idiot" and "don't know what the fuck they're doing", are okay because intelligence (or lack thereof) and competence aren't protected. And the stuff he said about Dr. Disrespect will also be overlooked. Generally, it's stuff like race, religion, sexual orientation, and physical traits that'll get you in trouble but definitely agree that Twitch is inconsistent. (One guy regularly gets dumped on by others for his height. All in fun, but still inconsistent enforcement.)
Hateful conduct is any content or activity that promotes, encourages, or facilitates discrimination, denigration, objectification, harassment, or violence based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, medical condition, physical characteristics, or veteran status, and is prohibited.

Just a guess: He didn't do it on purpose, but Dr. Disrespect got some days off and will be in Oakland for game 6 of NBA Finals tonight (he was in Toronto for game 2 rooting for Golden State) and he'll get 100k viewers for his Twitch return stream.

Also, I hadn't watched his E3 stuff, but Phil had overlays and new pre-stream animations? Did he credit someone for them?

Man, selling the car is one of the worst things he can do. Buy a used $5k car and there's a chance you'll get fucked for more than it's worth. At least with Phil's car, he can keep making the $500 monthly payments and have something he won't have to maintain or worry about it's 15-year old 125k mile transmission going out.

What he needs to do is not pay $300 a month for his internet line. Set up a plex server, start pirating videos and stop paying for WWEN/Netflix/Hulu/etc. And get rid of that fucking Renton condo nobody's living in.

DSP is a master at walking this fine line between talking insane amounts of shit, but stopping short of saying something that's bannable. It's like the one thing he puts effort into. Pushing things juuuuust enough to be as obnoxious as his personality demands without actually crossing the line into actual harassment (usually).

He'll lie and beg for money every day, but he makes sure to beg for tips alone.
He'll talk shit about other streamers all day long and say they dye their hair and wear clown makeup, but he won't name names to avoid getting popped for targeted harassment.
He said he'd slap an 11 year old girl in real life, but not to her face, so he can say he never directly threatened her.
He'll insult his viewers and call people mentally ill morons, but again stops just short of targeted harassment (usually).
He says he'll "beat the shit" out of people, but in vague enough terms that it can't be considered a real threat.
He'll make homophobic comments all the time, but veiled in such a way that he isn't directly calling people faggots and homos (apart from that one time when he was drunk).

He absolutely has enough minor infractions and is generally just such a toxic, negative presence on the site that Twitch would be well within their rights to kick him off, but Twitch have no incentive to do so until he starts getting them loads of negative PR. As he's too small-fry, it'll take something really extreme to get him banned and I think he's mastered the art of not pushing it to extremes. The only thing that should've absolutely nailed him was his drunken "faggots and homos" bit from that PUBG stream. I'm convinced this is why he doesn't drink on stream anymore and I'm amazed he wasn't booted for that.

There may be subscriber-only stream options in the future, but if Twitch goes full subscriber only, they may as well shut down.

I think you're giving Phil way too much credit. He can't control himself whatsoever. His reckless spending, his persistent TMI. He's just getting away with things because he makes others money.

I'm not saying he does this stuff wittingly. I agree he's not some Rick and Morty watching 9D chessmaster. I don't think he plans to do it, just like I don't think he plans his lies about how severe his tax problems are or the way he gaslights and manipulates his audience. He just does it, sees he doesn't suffer any negative consequences, and carries on without understanding what he's actually doing.

Nah...it sounded like he simply reacted to being asked about it. He calls stuff stupid all the time...this is no different.
