Edit: I didn't say this to excuse BHBH's apparent copy/paste job, but to point out how silly these law experts look for automatically asserting US Legal's ownership of the text in question again and again. This literally took me seconds to find.

Here's text from Black's Law Dictionary citing the third edition of Criminal Law from 1982. The precise text BHBH used would presumably be from some newer edition (of which there are 13).

#1) The "3 months ago" date GoFundMe lists has been rounded down from 3 months and 19 days. That update was made on February 26th, which was a week after the GoFundMe was created. The page itself was updated the day prior, February 25th, to say that it was "on behalf of Beard Harris". I've linked an archived version below.

It’s easier to speculate wildly and let your accusations be read between the lines by whoever is looking than it is to give a compelling argument with evidence.

The only thing less believable than Nick risking his license for $175k is Nick doing it for the first $10k in the first few days, but leave it to Shane to find the most exceptional read possible of something.

It would be completely unprofessional to turn over attorney/client privileged information like the exact financial details of representation to some shoe-eating idiot on the Internet. If it's necessary, it will be filed along with an accounting of attorney's fees when and if Vic wins, if the victory includes fee shifting so the other side has to pay his fees, if such a thing happens. I'm not sure how likely that is in Texas or what it would require.
