H-whut. I thought NEOGaf went down completely a few years ago for similar things but they are still up? Did the staff that was clean save it from the admin that was accused of all sorts of crap? I knew reset era was the sequel attempt so this isn't a huge surprise I suppose. I remember trying to make an account their for some un-related autism and the e-mail you needed to register couldn't be any sort of free e-mail like a gmail or yahoo account. It had to be the kind an ISP gives you, a work, or personal e-mail on a private domain IIRC. Kinda weird, I'm surprised it got any users at all with the hoops that would require one to jump through unless you're an active college student.

Celine seems to be completely fucking exceptional herself, but she's trying and I will award a medal for effort in the great forum meme wars.

Some great entertainment has come from all of this and if nothing else division has been sown in the upper ranks of the evil that is Resetera. None of them will ever trust each other again and the rats fleeing the sinking ship might drop other hints about what has been going on with these exceptional people.

I'm hearing SalesEra discord has been completely deleted, but yet to confirm. ZhugeEX has quit every discord associated with Resetera, that much is true. Unless admins and mods have their own super-super secret channels. That is where all the wrong-think discussion goes on for bannings.

An ex-mod on The Bore said they used to do it on the forums in private sections but staff were leaking shit :story:

I highly doubt that would be the case. Most workplace environments are either firewalled or behind a big-iron NAT router. Though, they could have somehow spear phished her and put a link to a zero-day remote code execution exploit. Usually that is how they infect you without having you download an EXE.

I think Null would pretty much revoke any moderator privileges from someone abusing their power on an SJW tirade. At least from what I've heard of him on Nick Rekieta livestreams. I don't think they'll have an easy time climbing the ladder here.

So many wi-fi routers get pwned nowadays. Botnets usually use malware in routers to do their dirty work because consumer router manufacturers don't care.
