Current prediction: This does not, unfortunately, end in an immediate heat death of the universe scenario like GAF. At least not yet. However, it has infected ERA with cancer inside and out.

This scandal dies down. They delete all problematic posts and ban their obvious evildoers. They return to their casual lies and hypocrisies. But the malignant cancer spreads. First, their reputation. Damage control was their first mistake. The fallout finds its way into the average normie's passing thoughts. "ResetERA? Wait, aren't those the guys that have a bunch of pedophilia going on and it's an open secret or some shit?" Then less developers, project managers and employers bend the knee. I eagerly await it with popcorn and coffee. This is the best way to deal with terrible people. You don't go in and destroy them yourself; you watch them destroy each other, by their own hand, with little or no actual influence from those they perceive as threats.

We need to make sure ResetERA becomes synonymous with pedophilia. Every article that promotes their forum should be flooded with comments about ZhugeEX's endorsement of child porn. Anytime they're mentioned by one of their users on Twitter or the like, do the same. Taint their brand until something is done.

Their "brand" is already on the rocks, Jeff Gerstmann mocked them for being negative downers on the GB e3 podcast, doesn't sound like anything, but that's pretty huge.

I usually prefer a quick death, just so that I can see the consequences, and the long-lasting effects. After all, who isn't to say that the gaming community or hobby is fed up with ERA? (Normal peoples being mocked, getting an employee fired, ruining Atlus' game called Catherine by getting an change in the ending despite the justified reason as well as forcing Nintendo to change some spirits in Smash Ultimate, and now accusing an company from yesterday, I think it was called THQ?)

Most people were done with ERA before it even existed. NeoGAF became a laughing stock because of these people which is why other forums loudly rejected the refugees when GAF started going down in flames. They have a longer history with bullshit than just what they've done on ERA, and you only need to look through this thread as proof of that.

As much as I like having a containment unit for these hateful, disgusting creatures, they've been on a slow enough boil. It's time to watch them burn.
