The reason that Mr. Burnell has given for deleting the leaderboard seems to be that the person who gave the $1000 tip (Kortdverg) was not the person who gave him the 'generous contribution in a different way than normal'. Given this information, we are able to draw one of two conclusions:

1) Mr. Burnell is lying and Kortdverg is the donator. This one is most likely in my mind, based on our protagonist's penchant for spinning yarns.

2) Mr. Burnell is telling the truth and he receive additional money beyond this $1,000 and his Twitch money. I have not watched any of his stream tonight but based on what @flatsoda said about his elated attitude, I would not discount this possibility.

Also, I've been waiting for someone to point it out but it's been so long that I've given up on it. I went trawling through some old videos but I couldn't quite find the clip so I call upon the powers of @Comma if I can be so bold. A bit ago (after Memorial day) Mr. Burnell had a tip/cheer with a message that said something along the lines of "You seem to be going to the doctor's an awful lot are you sick?" to which he replied something like 'Fuck off it's none of you business'. Now seeing as this was rather shortly after he waxed eloquent about the 100% authentic sliders the maid had made, I have a fun little headcannon going where he has another bout of gout and needs to seek a real doctor's help rather than rely on the mystical powers of organic cherry juice.

DSP Tries It: Being A Movie Critic from June 16th 2019 PM stream

Someone asks, "Hey Phil, what's the worst movie you've ever seen?"

Well at one point I would have said 'Mars Attacks' but then I saw a movie called 'Mud'. It started Kane Hodder who played Jason in Friday the 13th. It was bad. There was a scene in a bar. There was also a scene with two people having sex in a house. It was a bad movie. It was the worst movie I ever saw. I think it was called 'Mud' or something.

so dsp thinks if he got an offline job we'd still be hunting him down, phil doesn't understand the reason people follow him
as a person no one fucking cares about him, i only follow his antics because i can do it from my chair any time, and he spews everything onto the internet, the second he stops i've got nothing on him to continue
I mean, if some special person want to follow DSP around as he does his fast food job I would still keep track on him online. Not like he would become less of a mongo just because he's working a normal job.

After all this it really makes me wonder how much money he got behind the scenes. If nothing else, I believe he has no financial issues or they are minimal at best.
It's honestly a yes and no. He does have financial issues and it is a big deal and he's in trouble, but at the same time yes, he does get a huge amount of money. He is legit just THAT shitty of a spender. He can't budget at all. The main issue for him is that he wants to live an upper middle class lifestyle and refuses to downgrade. Well, he's now sucking it up and downgrading. Good example, cause DSP talks too much: He says he's had to cut costs on food and now goes for "the cheaper brand" and then in another prestream says for dinner he had Fred Meyer Angus Beef Sliders. And here you go - https://www.qfc.com/search?query=Angus Beef Slider Patties&searchType=natural
This is him cutting costs, which makes you think if this is the cheaper option for him, what else was he buying.

He's an upper middle class dude who's now living a lower middle class lifestyle and thinks he's now dirt poor and in financial crisis. He's a guy who thinks he's scraping by because he has to buy 7 dollar burger patties and he can't pay to win on his mobile games anymore which is something else he complained about on prestream earlier, that he can't fork out 3 grand on WWE supercard anymore (and I'm not even kidding thats how much he spend on WWE supercard), and his weekly day out with Kat can no longer be at expensive fancy restaurants.

Interesting. I was just reading personal experiences from people regarding narcissists in their lives and a common thread was about the disordered way they receive communication leading to a seemingly fundamental lack of ability to decipher and engage with other people's figurative speech. Several people also said the narcissist they knew did not seem to enjoy or understand parody or satire. Of course it's possible Phil just didn't like the film, it's one of those 'love it or hate it' kind of films.

Here is an IMDb link to the film Phil says is the worst movie he's ever seen. It's called 'Muck', it seems to be a low-budget tongue-in-cheek slasher film from 2015 that most reviewers seem to dislike save for a few holdouts.

I genuinely laughed when I saw that GoutSnout had received a $1k donation today. Again, the real villains are his paypigs, not just GriftSydePhil

Edit: He didn't even put the $1k donation as his top tip. Such gratitude.
Yeah I saw that on the DSP Archives Twitter.

Honestly, I think that that magical $1000 that he just so happened to get behind the scenes that he doesn't want to put on the leaderboard despite desperately begging for money is just a lie that he made up to justify buying the MK11 seadon pass.

"See, I'm not THAT broke! I got the MK11 Season Pass! ACK ACK ACK... but still give me money for my bills."

Every time Phil mentions something, ANYTHING, being donating to him, then it's usually the result of an impulse buy on his part. And whenever money's involved, it's to justify him buying things despite apparently not being able to afford it.

Holy shit, he's that mad at the "ACK ACK ACK" movie.

It's hard to tell how valid his opinion is. While Muck certainly doesn't seem to be a good movie, this is coming from the guy who couldn't understand Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and hates it as a result. Really makes you think...

Just so you guys know, this person did not use.
*LIP SMACK!*
Uhm.
*LIP SMACK!*
The standard method!
Let me put it that way.
They did not use the standard method to send me a tip.
They'd actually gone out of their way to anonymously send me something, with a different kind of message and everything.
It had nothing to do with my streaming or anything!
It happened overnight!
So, that's why, I'm saying- I'm happy this person did it!

Six months ago he stated on Twitter that he wouldn't be accepting ANY offers behind the scenes anymore:

no more offers outside of the stream behind scenes.PNG
(http://archive.li/m81my)

And he repeated that loud and clear during pre-stream the next day:

Source: DSP's very own pre-stream from Dec. 16th 2018 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GG7-plxsC0 @ 31:04)

A complete 180 in exactly six months. Nice one.

So yeah, as was mentioned earlier in the thread, he's lying about or at least covering up something, because:
1) if the $1,000 recorded by Streamlabs isn't the "behind the scenes" tip, then for some reason he hasn't mentioned that contribution AT ALL, or
2) if the $1,000 actually IS the "behind the scenes" donation, then he's lying about it not being done by the suspected tipper through unconventional ways.

I think he has given the answer himself by deleting the leaderbord from his Streamlabs section. Good job, DSP, you cunning man.

You have summoned me, so I have sent out my army of detractor spies to dig up the truth about the subject code-named "Pigroach".

Lol, no, I actually just searched for the word "doctor" on @drgnkiller's Twitter. He tends to mention weird rants like these, so most of the times it's the first thing I do when I'm looking for stuff like this. :)

Either way, I'm happy to report that "Operation Doctor Sniffles" has been completed succesfully:

this has always been more or less my take. For whatever reason the constant “crisis’s” seems to always shake out the most money from his fans...Phil knows this...and simply plays the part.

Wait so he said the guy who tipped him the thousand bucks wanted to remain anonymous, but used their twitch name in the tip? Did this dood just get caught in a huge ass lie to hide a thousand bucks?
Even if he's telling the truth about it, correct me if I am incorrect but he didn't even initially state how much the tip was for. Can't help but wonder why that might be? He's so gross.

Probably because he's afraid that might discourage his other little piggies. He knows a lot of them donate because of his "financial crisis #2635", and thus he knows that a lot might think that they don't need to donate if he has received a 1K tip overnight (which is bullshit dood, he has 5 more bills coming up this tuesday!). And I think he has not mentioned the tip AND not put it up on the leaderboard because he knows his fans love to donate to "get on the leaderboard". I'm sure Phil does understand his audience and how pathetic they are; he knows that, sadly, seeing their name up there is a huge achievement for them and gets them off.

how do you know that? because he, a professional con-artist" says so? imo there are no financial problems. i would even go so far to say he already paid of both mortgages and has a sizeable savings account. this guy made atleast 1 mil $ since he started yt/twitch (also atleast 100k$ are added every year) and even though he buys alot of useless shit (keurig, actions figures, bmw...) there is no way he burned through all that money.

If this is the case then Phil Burnell is the greatest player of 4D chess since Robo-Trump, and both due to the preponderance of evidence of such cleverness to the contrary and the fact that if it is true I will experience true ego death and slip into a coma, I must disbelieve it. The idea that this man secured a comfortable, responsible lifestyle through a decade-long campaign of calculated deception, plucking the heartstrings of his naive fanbase to pay off not one but two homes while leaving one to rot, would be too much for my brain to take.

I'm not sure how that's a worse scenario than the much more likely, "Phil is an ultimate idiot with zero self-control and puts the consequences of those personal failings, and others, on the backs of disabled people" but it is.

If this was the case, then he wouldn't have tried to short-sell the CT condo. We have proof of that actually happening. If this was the case, I sure as hell hope he wouldn't be streaming 6 days a week. I know if I had that kind of money, I'd at least take 3 days off a week.

i think most detractors underestimate him. he is a full blown (kind of smart) and manipulativ con artist and not some dumb e-beggar with money problems.

I think he's able to recognize that he can just say "Give me money for reasons I'm not going to tell you about" and he will be given money. That won't change until he feels he's not getting enough. Then he'll make up some other reason.

Why did Snort Burnell release a video saying the $1000 tipper was Vidar? I haven't seen anything about Vidar being involved. Between this and still spreading the 2 cars nonsense Snort is doing more harm than good at this point. He's literally playing into the "Detractors just make stuff up about me" meme Phil always goes on about.

Edit: In one of the comments on the video someone said the name was in Norwegian so that's why they think it's Vidar. Pretty thin reasoning to me, but maybe. Still who cares who the tip came from? What matters is that it's a $1000 tip DSP desperately tried to hide. DSP trying to hide a big tip is way more interesting/damning than an old paypig coming back (which I doubt just because of Vidar's posting history here).
