Tinfoil hat time, but is it possible he's trying to play 4-d chess with Phil? Phil made it sound like he spoke with the dude when the donation was made since he said it was a wedding congratulations thing and the person wanted to be anonymous. It kinda reminds me of that "troll" who went back and forth with emails trying and failing to get Phil to agree to some shady fake sponsorship deal. They could be winding Phil up, giving the 1k in exchange for something then attempting a chargeback and leaking their conversations. It's possible it's just a coincidence, stranger things have happened in the goutsphere after all, but it seems like it is at least worth considering. I'd be curious to know if he pulled any similar shenanigans with Wings since that's the only other person he's subbed to. I'm only vaguely familiar with Kitboga after a quick google search, but I'd think anyone who follows him would have a decent idea of how to game the system via chargebacks and would be interested in going after a scammer like Phil. Then again, it could just be a genuine fan who follows Kitboga because they are a detractor or just another crazy coincidence in the goutsphere. Either way, like most things in Phil's life, it is pretty weird and suspicious.

DSP is such a slimeball that he could say that the leaderboard being up was an oversight and that he's taking steps to protect tippers. I don't know why people would give DSP a way to play the victim card so easily. I don't think that giving 1 grand is some 4-d chess move, too much money to gamble away and not make back through chargebacks. DSP will derail a stream while recording for Youtube over $5 dollar tips, I think we saw another paypig enter the fray.

Super Mario Maker 2 and Dragon Quest Builders 2 are going to be "chill streams" until one of them gets dropped. He is never going to allocate the time required to see end-game content or any well done user content. Maybe given that his audience is already exceptional maybe they can provide good content but DSP doesn't care to create anything of value.

Stranger Things, he is going to be behind the 8-ball on twitch as everyone will have finished it by the time he starts. I dunno him slogging through an 16 bit brawler is going to be a chore with him peppering his audience about what and how to do things,

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 if it is like previous games the intention is for people to finish the game multiple times, unlock new characters, and play on higher difficulty; nothing that DSP does when playing games.

Anyway, I guess this means that the money that was on the leaderboard is in fact NOT the anonymous tipper! This means that Phil just got $2k overnight and is financially solvent for the month so nobody needs to donate! Right? Because we saw the leaderboard, Phil. This is one of his absolute most glaring lies, and it just proves he does this chronically, because there is no way his alternative explanation works. To anyone paying attention, he covered his tracks and instead of asking nobody to talk about it, just flatly lies. And that's how Phil handles problems, and why nobody trusts him. Classic.

Several people got banned, but that was about the extent of it. The regulars and undercover detractors were likely aware this was an easy account death so they just ignored it. Someone mentioned it later and Phil made a production of banning him and said the person had been watching detractor videos. This was a curious statement because MrHuth was in DarkDave'sMirror chat and commented that he would make a video (and he now has), so the only 'videos' that this person could have watched was Tevin's restream from earlier. Which is also how Phil would have known to disable the Streamlabs leaderboard. So this again confirms that Phil either watches Tevin, or he has a mod that not only watches Tevin, but is willing to explicitly help Phil lie. Chancla and Anony continue to be busy. That or Swaggy is trying to fast track a return to gout's good graces.

Yeah, Dave could probably get most of us off his back if he quit the obvious scamming. I think he is overestimating how much people here care about him, versus care about his lies. This thread was relatively slow on this site until he really ramped up with the begging and the obfuscation of money. I'm mostly interested because I find it amazing, as we saw today, that he is willing to just outright bend reality in front of at least 100 people who know he is lying and have seen proof, and do it with a straight face and have it work. I just want to see the moments where he finally gets trapped. Once karma finally takes its toll, if it ever does, he can waddle away in obscurity.

I decided to transcribe it, instead of just posting a clip, because I want people to see in stark text how he tries to flim-flam his way out of admitting that he received an overnight $1,000.00* tip from an idiot and was still begging for free game codes and tip money this morning.

*I'm saying that the donation was $1,000.00, and not $1,100.00, because Streamlabs had a weekly total listed for the paypig's contributions and I think he gave $100.00 earlier this week. If I'm wrong and someone would like to correct me, please do. That way I can sneak-edit in the correct amount and never publicly acknowledge my mistake, and then deny that I was ever wrong, and loudly proclaim that anyone saying I previously had the wrong amount in the post was just a troll spouting slanderous lies on my reputation.

DSP's not trying to cover up for the fact that he attempted to hide the amount of money that was given to him overnight, so that he could keep begging for tip money, and DSP didn't know that his Streamlab profile page leaderboard would reveal how much money he was given. DSP's just trying to protect someone that wanted to help out Kat and Phil, dood!
Now, because according to DSP, the wrong person was identified, it invalidates the entire subject of the large tip that was given, and that attempting to refer to the large tip is now a bannable offense.
Also, it appears that typing "$1100 tip" in DSP's chat gets you a warning from Nightbot.

You're right, and he never flatly denied receiving it or the amount, and he also never actually confirmed the amount.
In his explanation above, he said:

This implies that any value that appeared on streamlabs would be, allegedly, incorrect, not just the name associated with it, because this person apparently didn't tip via the 'standard method'. So we're supposed to conclude it wouldn't have been on there at all and the information that was displayed just never existed, I suppose. But now he is in a situation where he also can't say it was $1100 or $1000 that he received, or it'll be clear that he was lying about the streamlabs connection, so he has to ditch all transparency and just not disclose the amount at all.

There are so many ways he could have explained this that wouldn't have required this level of lying. Even just saying that detractors somehow figured out the name so he'll ban the name in chat... but the fact that he had to ban '1100' from the chat reveals his priorities - he's trying to also use this as a way to cover how much money he got in addition to the dude's name. Whatever detractors are going to do with the information they have, he has done nothing to disprove that this wasn't the person who gave the money, all he has done is made it obvious that he lies and is bad at it.

Just like with the dox harvest, I hope that when Kortdverg ends up on the receiving end of the Fred Fuchs hit squad, Phil publicly denounces him and says that he never should have had his personal info online anyway. All Kort's fault dood, nothing Phil could do. Please tip. It's anonymous.

"To be fair" to DSP, I happened to catch that few minutes of the stream, and I swore I saw a message right before that one that specifically mentioned Soma Julius Cruz by full name, so I THINK DSP was ranting about that guy and got confused in his own mind.
