Community Munchausen's by Internet (Malingerers, Munchies, Spoonies, etc) - Feigning Illnesses for Attention

She was totally obsessed with being a child. The reason she came to LC's attention was she used to request child life services at her children's hospital even though she was 21 and post pictures of her playing with toy xylophones with a stack of disney movies they'd brought her on the table. She only ate food marketed for babies and children, wore children's clothing, etc. Even her surgical masks were printed with little teddies on them. I don't know if she still is so obsessed or if the heroin OD and arrest was a wakeup call that she was an adult and would be treated like one now.
I hope someone bought the child life specialist a drink after that shift. I'm sure she needed it.

Yeah I was always under the impression that Jonzie manufactured all the stories and texts, the same way Kadeelyn used to claim her doctor was doing "emotional hospice" with her.

(anecdotally my personal munchie stalker used to also claim she had a close personal relationship with her doctor and would send me supposed text messages from her doctor doting on her like a child. It's a really fucking weird thing they like to claim.)
I’m going to need some more background on this girl. So her mom was an actual doctor, too? Did she have normal siblings?

Her mother is a radiology tech. Nothing to be ashamed of but definitely not the big brag that Jonzie wanted it to be. Hm I don't know about siblings, I'd be very curious to know that.

I’m literally laughing out loud thinking about this girl going to the Children’s Hospital for a heroin overdose. Sadly, this probably has become more and more common.

The children's hospital I'm affiliated with treats children (for free!) up to 21 years old. Charge kicks you out when you turn 25.

So, uh, I guess it could happen.

Jonzie has at least four older brothers: Anthony (Tony), Damian, Devan, and I think the other is named Dominic. The oldest lives in San Diego and has for years, the rest in Sandusky area. Tony, at least, has a different mother than Alexys; I don't know the parentage of the others but the father seems like the common link between all four. They seem to have been close growing up and the age difference between them is the typical 1-3 year sibling distribution pattern. She continues to be close to them and in the public facebook posts I've managed to find she turns up in a lot of family photos.

There may be other siblings but their family is huge and sprawling and I can't keep track of them. All the brothers seem normal and well-adjusted, with wives and kids and college educations and grown up jobs.

Mom worked interventional radiology at Mount Carmel East hospital in Columbus. I think she lives there and now so does Alexys? I have a Sandusky address for Alexys but it also looks like she lives with Mom now so I don't know.

I wonder if it's normal for children's hospital to do things like that? On one hand, unless the resources are very limited, I don't see any harm in giving an adult woman toys to play with, on the other, it seems like a sign of some underlying issues and I can see why maybe it's not a great idea.

It is. Church groups donate all kinds of dumb shit to us and now I'm p. sure we have enough teddy bear surgical masks to outlast the apocalypse now. We just hand them out like candy.

What we really need is an OMFS on staff willing to work in charity care. This is slightly more expensive than giving us action figures you dug out of the attic.

This reminds me of Jan claiming her mom is a psychiatrist when she's actually a realtor with a Masters in Counseling Psychology (that appears to only allow her to practice in PR.)

eating disorders, especially serious starvation, fuck up your heart. Any kind of purging will fuck up your electrolytes and can lead to an ECG like that. Along with low potassium, things like hyperventilation can also cause flat or inverted T waves. They’re pretty non specific and I dont see anything on that ECG that indicates an imminent heart attack.

Ondansetron is a really safe medication, so safe it’s given to pregnant women with severe intractable nausea from morning sickness (it’s not the the first line of treatment, but it’s safe during pregnancy.) it’s expensive and not given out as easily as other anti nausea drugs so I imagine it’s another munchie badge to collect?

I think it was mostly to show that she still receives her prescriptions from Cleveland children's, from Mama Bear. As an adult women.

OK that doc is so inappropriate, if she were a man I'd think she was a pedophile. Jonzie seems weirdly obsessed with pretending to be a child too, there's a few posts with photos in that thread of her sitting in a stroller or a shopping cart. To me that makes the relationship between her and her doc even weirder.
There seems to be an element of stunted emotional development or wanting to be a forever child with munchies though in general, like Jan and Jaq's many trips to Disney and the pink wheelchairs and badges or beads decorating medical equipment.
Eh, women can be pedophiles. It's relatively rare in women compared to men (IIRC its something like 10% of pedos are women?) but it absolutely happens. And when it does it's easier for them to get away with it bc people just don't suspect it of women a lot of the time.

It was the general consensus that Mama Bear didn't actually do any of that. Jonzie was just making up a fantasy. No way a doctor would literally hold a patient and stroke their hair till they fell asleep, or text them that they loved them, complete with heart emojis.

At least not that and keep their license.
I really hope this is the case tbh. The way this munchie describes their relationship sounds like an ABDL scene more than any kind of medical setting. Someone in the lolcow thread said that they personally knew a colleague of theirs and that it was all real, though? Hopefully that's a LARP, because this would be the creepiest fucking shit ever if true.

Even if not, this chick is creepy as hell, obviously has a fetish, and needs to get into the BDSM community so she can stop eating fucking soap to play it out.

You missed the best part. Our little doxxed sicko Carrie has commented. 😂View attachment 804640

Yeah well, the account is private and I'm too much of a trembling scrotum to attempt to request them right after they've been brought up here. Risks outing my carefully curated fake account.

I saw that Carrie was following but she's kind of admit she's full of shit. The reason she came to my attention at all was she posted about being an "OTT" on /IF and their grief cuddlebox. Ren is adamant about how she's not faking a single one of her conditions and they're all REAL and she's not being OTT about anything!!!! So I didn't expect to find her following an account that waxes poetic on how to give herself sepsis.

So, I saw an article about a cat with the equivalent of EDS. This cat probably has a higher probability of getting hurt since cats do love to jump and pounce. Somehow, this cat, who visibly has the disorder, has more of a fulfilling life than these fucks. What in the hell does that say about these assholes?

Cats with FCA don't generally have joint hypermobility. It's almost entirely a cutaneous condition. They have velvety-soft elastic skin that tears easily and doesn't heal well but also doesn't bleed much despite leaving gaping open wounds. They get "wings" on their back that can legit just rip off from minor trauma. It's pretty horrific. There's a canine version as well and at least one documented case of a pupper with a fatal vascular rupture from it but again, doesn't seem like they have much in the way of joint involvement.

As KFS mentioned, the cat’s type of EDS is more cutaneous in isssue; it more closely resembles the dermatospraxis type of EDS. That being said, people with EDS, particularly Hypermobile type who were athletes, can be quite disabled by pain, especially in middle age. However, most of these 20-somethings claiming EDS likely don’t have it or are actually making themselves worse by being inactive. There are 13 types of EDS currently identified, FYI.
