Trump knows that impeachment will die in the Senate and that there are a lot of ways in which things would go sideways for the Democrats. Most notably, acquittal in the Senate would screw over state level party hacks who are fast at work on Plan C (basically arrest Trump the second he leaves office on trumped up charges) and more to the point, would open Pandora's box on the corruption on Obama and Hillary and their ilk's end regarding the coup attempt that is Russiagate.

The later, if you want to go for a conspiracy theory, is why Nancy is trying to stop all talk of impeachment. She probably knows Trump WANTS impeachment, since it's the only way he can expose the Democrat coup attempt in a manner that the Democrats can't brush aside as right wing conspiracy and the fact that they won't be able to sweep it under the rug if it all comes out in a trial. Furthermore, I would not be shocked if Nancy's resigned herself to said state level hacks' Plan C: basically arrest Trump on trumped up charges when he leaves office. Impeachment would make that very next to impossible due to the optics of it being seen as a witch-hunt.

The Democrats in the House can try to impeach Donald Trump all they want but they still need a two-thirds vote in the Senate and the Democrats simply do not have the votes needed in the Senate for impeachment to happen. So the Democrats can go ahead with it but it will backfire on them.

Well, using the medieval warm period as a base (since funnily enough it was a global phenomenon), some items to highlight include:

1. US' East Coast would be wetter, which isn't as annoying now, but does flood certain crops.
2. US' West Coast and Southwest would experience megadroughts, which isn't so good given a lot of our secondary crops and livestock are grown there.
3. Dry regions in general expand polar wise, so droughts will be more common outside of Europe.
4. Wet regions experience a similar weird effect of expanding too, so expect flooding to be more common.
5. Interestingly, the Mediterranean would cool a bit, the Levant in particular
6. Flooding in some low lying regions due to the thermal expansion of water
7. Cyclonic storms decrease in quantity, but increase in intensity. This is actually based on how ironically the heat both feeds and kills the storms at the same time.

So it's annoying. Kind of shit for quite a few people since it'd affect growing periods and arable lands in some cases, and something to care about... just not to the point you demolish your economy and still let the chinaman poison it anyway. Also it's over decades, and not "JUST AROUND THE CORNER FUCKING PANIC!" like these weirdos are bleating now. It isn't an extinction level event at all and it'll just be something to deal with.
