Community Munchausen's by Internet (Malingerers, Munchies, Spoonies, etc) - Feigning Illnesses for Attention

I scrolled back too far on the pastel shitstain's youtube and found this
omg im gonna die from not breathing too good but i can talk fine and record this video and not even use an inhaler properly because it's so DEADLY SRS U GYZ
It's 8 years ago but still, such theatrics deserve to be shared

So I have no idea who this is but...

1) At best, that's anxiety. I mean, pretending I believe her at all that she's not entirely fabricating this and really does feel like she's having trouble breathing, what she's describing is how anxiety can make you feel like your chest is closing and you can't get a deep enough breath. Any kind of stimulant inhaler is going to make her worse.
2) the dead eyed gaping mouth gyrating fish-on-dry-land look she's affecting to prove this is super real and serious, fellas, is hilarious
3) i know when I'm dying of not being able to get a breath, my first order of business is to not only make a youtube video, but make sure I get in a pointed jab at those evil non-vegans who selfishly got inhalers taken off the market just so they could continue to consume the flesh of innocent animals

someone called her out for stating she had "chemo brain" and she went batshit crazy. This broad is too much.

Edit: this is my first post on this forum, I have some things to learn, clearly.

This woman. She goes into way too much detail about everything except what chemo she was on and for what reason.

What on earth is chemo brain???

I don't remember what meds exactly she's on but I have a sneaking suspicion that she may be taking methotrexate and is being really dramatic about it.

It's a really common treatment for autoimmune diseases and technically it is chemo but obviously in far lower doses than what you would give a cancer patient. 20 mg weekly is the max for autoimmune.

I think she's making it up whole cloth but yeah, low-dose methotrexate was the one that popped immediately to mind. She didn't list any chemo drugs in her cocktail but she's always really shady about what she takes (because she doesn't know what "normal" treatment is for any of the diseases she fakes and a really good way to out yourself for lying is to say you're on drugs no doctor in their right mind would prescribe). She does claim to be on corticosteroids from three separate doctors so god knows what autoimmune bullshit she lied about before her current incarnation.

I'm not sure if I should thank you for introducing her to me or to punch you in the face lol...Free Freckles!

At least I can rest easy knowing that even Sarah-Jean has mostly realized Freckles shouldn't be working. She's framing it as her no longer needing a dog since she has her chair and IV fluids, but I think she was just acutely aware that her dog's behavior was making it perfectly obvious she wasn't a real service dog and did not enjoy working. She was always stressed. I mean, look at her in that 5-second intro video clip. Hunched, unfocused, eyes darting back and forth, licking her nose... that's not a happy pupper.

Edit: formatting is for losers.

I, too, believe she is totally making it up. What kills me is the fact that she has these doctors on film telling her she doesn't have the conditions she claims to have yet she still insists she has them. And the MCAS doctor who diagnosed her based on self reported symptoms must be a nut.

I find her entire existence sad and don't know how her father puts up with her nonstop bullshit.

oh she's straight up delusional. Jaquie was like that in the beginning too. On her Instagram account and Harlow's, she would just blatantly admit her doctors told her she didn't have the diseases she claimed and she'd be like "well I'm going to take it as a diagnosis anyway because this ER nurse said I might have it." She learned how to edit most of that oversharing out to curate a better image.

This has been my complaint about most of these girls forever. I mean, yeah, it makes it really easy to see who's faking but at the same time, they control their entire online presence and they still fuck it up. If you're trying to pretend you have gastroparesis bad enough to need a J-tube, don't post a photo of your dinner. If you want to pretend your joints dislocate so easily you need a wheelchair, don't show a video of you jumping up and down because you got excited. Dani is the classic example. She needs IV fluids and a feeding tube because she can't handle anything in her delicate tummy and is losing too much weight and has terrible POTS, then she drinks multiple gut-rotting sugar free energy drinks per day that make even a healthy person feel like absolute shit.

I have to give CrippleKat some credit since she holds her cards close to her chest and doesn't give away too much information in general. She's had multiple surgeries she didn't explain, she rarely talks about what her actual diagnoses are or what medications she takes or why she's in the hospital again. She just gets off on showing off that she's got all these surgical interventions and mobility aids and uses that as her proof rather than falling into the over-explaining trap the rest of them do. Other than the constant coffee selfies while claiming to need TPN, that is.

You are soooo right. I missed Jaquie in her early days, watched the disaster towards the end then quit, and next thing I knew she was dead. CrippleKat is new to me, but I went down the rabbit hole yesterday. How in God's name did she gain so much weight?? I also noticed she lives not too far from me.

Presumably, she kept eating and drinking soda and other sugary drinks while being on TPN which provided 100% of her nutrition needs. When she first got her tubes she admit she was purging draining food through her g-tube, and she's always got food in the background in her kitchen selfies (I've seen bread, bagels, cereal, chips, ramen, and case after case of full-sugar cola) even though she claims she lives alone. At the same time she became completely sedentary. Calories in, calories out. If she was getting 1800 calories a day through TPN, drinking two or three sodas, having a snack or two, and not moving at all, she could easily get fat in a year.

Ohhhh that makes sense then...thanks for explaining. These people are fucking fascinating. Frustrating as hell.....but fascinating.

My bet for next death is Kelly and her legs. She's in a position where she could literally just turn on a dime like jaq did.

The fucking dog shit in Walmart though? All the munchies piss me off for the two obvious reasons everyone has: they waste resources and make life harder for people with real illnesses. But these dog munchies really go the extra mile with me. I love dogs, first of all but like the cows who fuck up kids, I extra hate people who ruin the lives of creatures who are by definition and design, innocent, blameless and reliant on adults, like young children or pets.

I've trained so many dogs in my life and I'll never understand how this even happens. Honestly, I don't. I've never "trained" a puppy to go on command. That's how easy it is to do. Your puppy is gonna go regardless so everytime it does you say a "command word" and within a few weeks it's trained itself. This woman has had this dog for a long ass time and claims she trains it constantly. There is absolutely no excuse for this to happen except for abuse. That dog had to have needed to go for a looong time at that age and was probably in distress. They know they aren't supposed to poop inside and if they do, it's a last resort. It's literally the first thing you train into a new puppy. I'm currently dealing with an adult rescue and that dog has to be "trained" deliberately. That's a different kettle of fish and is much harder. There's no excuse when you get a puppy. Everything it knows/does is because of you. Period.

In addition though, all of what I just said is just for any normal pet dog. These people claim they're "service dogs" which is just... a way way higher training bar. I used to know someone who trained service puppies and first of all, there's no such thing as a "service puppy". It's a puppy in training and it won't necessarily make it. Training a puppy for service involves training it normally as a pet like you would any other puppy, while supervising for personality traits that point to it either being good for service in the future or too easily distracted/stubborn/lazy/etc to ever be a service dog and gets placed as a pet.

I hate dontpetmeimworking. A lot.

the IG name "dontpetmeimworking" is already bait for a REEEEE about how no one should pet her dog.
Caitlin seems to enjoy finding ways to make herself a victim and looking for disability access problems that only affect her.
She took a rather brisk walk to walmart to train her dogin one video, then in another she's in a wheelchair struggling to get up a handicap accessible ramp.
I'm not sure the requirements for the angle of a ramp for wheelchairs, but the ramp at any angle probably would have been too steep for her noodle arms anyway, because she doesn't use the chair every day and has no upper body strength.

Steroids from 3 different doctors RIP her kidneys. She may finally get a serious chronic medical problem for reals. Here's why hopping from doc to doc is a bad idea they don't know your full history and you're more likely to get over medicated or end up with medications that interact .

Speaking of which Dani and her long list of interacting psych and stomach meds put her at the top of my list to be the next to die. I think Kelly will outlast them all just to spite us.

Agree with everything you said. The dog sport center mine train at will disqualify your dog for a certain length of time if it shits on the floor, because if it stops to shit during a competition it's out. We also tell plenty of newbies that their dogs aren't having fun/are showing every sign of being stressed and they shouldn't be participating. Lots of people don't realize that their dog panting and licking its lips means it wants to be out of this situation. This is a fun low-pressure sport that they only train for a few hours a week, not a dog that's expected to accompany their handler everywhere for extended periods of time in situations that are not normal for a dog.

Sarah-Jean and Freckles are the fucking worst because that dog is constantly showing signs that she's anxious and avoidant as all hell and could very well react if someone got in her face.

Long time lurker, first time poster. A long ass time ago someone pointed out that there were not very many munchie men. I have since deleted FB, but in a group I was in there was a guy names Clifton Cummings. He didnt have an official diagnosis, but he was always in the ER and claimed so many diagnosises. His "proof" was a printed out list of diagnosises that he thought he had/has and he would always say that he was going into the hospital to have cancer from his bladder removed, but when people would ask him how he was recovering there was always an excuse why he didnt have the surgery. He also made an account that was supposedly his wife Mollie Cummings and "she" would go on the group to basically confirm that his stories were true.

Edit: Searched on FB Clifton Cummings (Shy Eagle) if anyone wants to check it out.
