John K heavily implies with George Liquor that he was feely touchy what with George's balls and raging erection making appearances all throughout the short, but that could easily be John K being manipulative and attempting to be sly.
I was just rewatching Ren Seeks Help, and he really does seem to have some serious daddy issues.

No matter how abusive Mr. Kricfalusi might’ve been, John being a pedophile rapist and a huge failure is disproportionate retribution to just being a shitty father.
What if Mr. Kricfalusi was a pedo himself? I doubt it since John constantly hints at it in all his work, so it could easily be a pity card he set up for himself in case things go awry for him professionally, kind of like how Kevin Spacey "came out" as gay when he got MeToo'd. But at the same time, he produced a degenerate like John for society to deal with & I could also see that being the case, since he too would creep on teenage girls during John's adolescence. Then again, that story of his dad creeping on young girls comes from John himself, an unreliable narrator, so who really knows?
John's excuses are like those lifeline options you get when playing Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and CWL is what happened when he ran out of them.
