That's not the point. The point is that you know that there is a sizable portion of Jim's fanbase that is autistic as all hell. It has nothing to do with people on the street knowing I watch Metokur (which wouldn't be a problem anyway; I never go outside), it's more to do with being caught out in public wearing a shirt that says "sweaty squad" on it. Maybe I'd wear it if I was looking to get my anus wrecked by burly gay men at the local 24 Hour Fitness, but as it is I prefer wearing the insufferably smug shirts I can get at Target, thank you very much.

No. I don't know (or care) how Jimmy and Jershy feel about each other, but for one thing, I don't think it's possible for Null or anyone else to look like a bigger sellout. Remember when metokur said that superchats, patreon, donations, and e-merchandise were all stupid?
Furthermore, Null can't come close to what Jim does with money, period. He's been kicked off 109 platforms for spearheading the content Jim himself takes and as a result is basically unmonetizable. Jim can still make money because he only does "safe" content and, in fact, has taken a large portion of that content from KF and other sites which actually run the risk of losing their money stream.

Look, donate to boomer groomer as much as you want, God knows there's worse ways to spend it. But don't get on a soapbox trying to justify giving money or him taking money when there's really nothing to defend, and certainly don't try to justify it by going 'loljelly' at the people who've been not only undergirding a lot of the content, but who also have been on the receiving end of the demonetization machine. It just comes off as petty and gay.

I like Jim's content but I wouldn't be caught dead wearing anything that associates me with the Sweetie Squad. Using themed merchandise inevitably links you to a fanbase and in this case one that has a deservedly bad reputation (and it's not hard to imagine why when you look at the last few pages of this thread).

When I see a Steven Universe clothing being worn by a grown man I subconsciously associate it with an excessive consumption of soy-based products, in the case of MLP-themed accessories my thoughts go to autism and sexual deviancy and don't even get me started on kekistan t-shirts.
A Sweetie Squad hat might not be as embarrassing as the above examples but we're getting there.

Jim opening an online store is pretty funny and you should laugh at it if you want. But people who seem to get actually upset and angry at this need to go out for some fresh air. If you ever saw Jim as some kind of moral arbiter rather than a shitposter that's your dumbass problem. Some of you act like those takedown videos in which he sometimes laughs at people squeezing their fans for money were like personal endorsements of your own beliefs and you feel betrayed.
