Anyone who has the audacity to use the death, much less the suicide, of ANYONE'S -current friend, former friend, enemy, acquaintance, complete stranger - loved one as a platform for something completely unrelated to their death is a horrible human being. They mentioned her in passing, not even by name, because I'm sure the fact that she was SWATTED as she was preparing to bury her father, who loved the music of the Beatles, really messed her up. Her memories of not only losing her father, but burying her father, are forever linked to that awful experience. An experience that Lupa played a part in (forgive me, I don't know if she was 100% responsible, it's been a while). Regardless of what was said in that review, or how or why...be a goddamn adult about it. Don't spaz out on Twitter.

Honestly, I think Phelous is smarter than to engage in all this online bullshit. He knows to keep his head down, do his job & mind his own damn business. He's not going to white knight for Lupa. It's between Lupa & Brad, not him. And I feel like he & Brad have a mutual, if not professional, respect for each other. Even if they do have problems, they don't hash it out on Twitter. If anything, they may discuss them privately.

You know, like adults.

Also,Suede blocked me the other day when I said I don't agree that the Evangelion's translator is promoting child porn for liking Strike Witches and Girls und Panzer.So much for being tolerant with other people's opinions about how fictional drawings should be depicted,huh?

Couple years ago I would have agreed with you, but seeing as post 2013/2014 has seen the widespread adoption of the "if you mock/criticise me then you are automatically guilty for EVERYTHING bad people say or do to me from this moment onwards since you obviously inspired them" logic among Lupa's clique, and Im pretty certain we have showcased examples of her making this exact arguement on this thread, even if she is 100% technically correct on this issue she is still a scumbag hypocrite of the lowest order

Oh, boy...this really does summarize Allison's perpetual drama escalating outside harassment towards her "victimizers" while she takes zero responsibility for it. It's like her critics get hit with boiling water thrown by her supporters which she caused to boil by revving these people up day in and day out on her Twitter. But of course, it's not her fault since she technically didn't tell them to throw the boiling water and occasionally mentions she doesn't endorse throwing the boiling water that she heated up for them. She can say that she discourages it and that it hurts her heart every time it happens so, so, so, so, so MUCH but anyone who can read between the lines sees the reality. She's vindictive enough that any harassment towards her enemies gives her a big Cheshire cat smile on the inside, every time.

Also, I'm not a regular of this thread, last time I checked, it was only a rumor that Allison is asexual, has this been proven now?
It would be utterly pathetic and I would really question what Phelous is getting out of this "relationship".

He's friendly with a number of CA alumni. I remember him tweeting out support during the initial CTC drama back in 2018.

I have to wonder if he's a little bitter about getting turned down by the Walkers so now he wants to rally everyone against them and their supporters.

Is he as dependant on Twitter as everybody from Channel Awesome? Does he post some stuff unrelated to his videos? Maybe starts a long threads with somebody? Because I'm starting to think that Phelan was so fast with helping Allison in slapfights, because she told him to in DMs.

IIRC, according to his rap video, he was inspired to get into movie reviews by Brad and Doug. He was also featured on the TGWTG website a long-ass time ago. And as @TheBeast66 and the rap video had mentioned, Tamara Chambers, who've once made a shout-out video for him, claimed that he verbally attacked her... then said that she shouldn't had said that and blamed it on her depression. He claims that the reason why she'd apologized was because he was donating to her Patreon.

But, yeah. I agree with you on with him being obsessed with it. I used to think his parodies were pretty funny, and the rap song wasn't too bad, either. Back then, it seemed like he was saying some well-deserved things about Channel Awesome. But, his insistence on keeping #ChangeTheChannel alive and him continuing to fucking support Lupa despite her proving time and time again to be a vindictive bitch is just... petty.

But, I know why he really does it. Despite claiming it otherwise on his more recent CTC videos, he said it himself on the rap video: It gets him views and attracts people to his channel. 9 of his top 10 most viewed videos are CTC related. He got a subscriber boost when he'd first started making CTC videos and especially with the documentary. It's still pathetic that he needs to latch onto a long-dead hashtag to get any form of popularity, though.
