Pk, if you're reading this thread (which i doubt you are) you can't fix the things you have done, instead you can bandage them. And with "bandage" i mean:
Redesign your webcomic entirely, learn how to tell your stories properly, write a simple story for Floraverse that anyone from any age can comprehend, Redesign some characters, stop with the gender bullshit (If a character is male KEEP it as a male and vice versa), add unique personalities and behaviour to your characters, don't make all of them look like you or act the same. keep important plot points ONLY in the SFW site, add a background story to your characters or at least explain their past in a few words

for last but not least listen to your fans and spectators about fixing and improving Floraverse, because it doesn't make sense to create a public webcomic if you just care about your own opinion about it. If you're not going to listen to critics then keep your webcomic to yourself.

Again, i know you're probably never gonna read this but if you do, please consider doing all of the examples above, you can't just improve Floraverse if you want. You can improve YOURSELF

Floraverse was always just a front which real goal was trapping prepubescent people then infecting them with Melanie's truly perverted (in more ways than one) mentality. I already said (and this popped up time and again) that Melanie explicitly wished that she wants Floraverse to be the way her readers find out that they are BGLT+. Then there is Melanie's (plausible) fantasy of prepubescent people finding out about 'intimate' matters before the time that they are supposed to know those things. In fact, there are hints that her previous project (PMD Explorers) had similar goals, what with the erotic items and how there was a fully-developed perverted part of the group that anyone, even prepubescent people, could enter with little obstacle.

Melanie is also hyper-selfish. In a callout post against the Kiwi Farms, she got the angriest over someone using the 'wrong' pronouns (even though she apparently did not care if specific people 'misgendered' her). Even though she married Jayson (Marl), she would rather be with Alexander (Eevee) and even divorced Jayson (something that I admittedly cheered). Even then, Melanie bullied Eevee into having a vasectomy (and maybe even making a comic and game with her, if I correctly interpreted Melanie's comics about him).

You cannot blame this on the Kiwi Farms, either. She rejects all advice from even her closest fans, too. The best way to 'bandage' Floraverse is doing that yourself.

I admit that, despite everything I typed, I am actually grateful that you bothered with writing that long-distance intervention. She needs to hear that, even if she were to reject the advice.

I see 3 options that could've happened, although I only believe the 1 and 2 are plausible.

PK or Eevee donated, putting it in the name of "The Floraverse Community" because they knew that if they said their real (nick)names, the Twitch chat and Twitter would explode telling the organization that the donation came from a group of pedophiles who committed or supported children abuse. The "community" was a good way to dilute the guilt, yet getting what they wanted (to name one the kid after Neon).
This, however, makes me wonder how much are they earning. The last time we looked PK was getting around $960 for the normal floraverse, but we don't really know if they're getting money from other sources (other Patreon, allowances, govt support). That doesn't take away the option that they could've saved the money for a while.

2. They got help from a couple of their supporters, they put the rest of the money, and donated it in the name of "the community". After all, if people can finance them with almost $1000/month for doing nothing, they can perfectly get the same people to help them with some more to raise the 5K to have their character immortalized in a GDQ run.

3. The community did manage to get all that money together and donated it, although I really don't believe this is the case considering most of their fans are impressionable kids and young teenagers.

In the end the result is the same: $5000 went for Neon to be put on the game, they did it (I don't remember if the donation was read out loud, though), nobody thought about this, everything went on happily and nobody remembered the background behind the Floraverse community.

Given that their reputation has caused them to hemorrhage Patreon supporters and it’s not like they get commissions, I’m certain that they didn’t donate anything. They’re likely scraping for any money they can and wouldn’t be willing or able to donate if they wanted to.

I don't think any of these are screamingly likely. They can't be fucked to even pay their own artists and zine contributers a fair enough wage, why on earth would they part with several grand if it was just handed to them like that? I know they're batshit insane and super vain, but PK's Neon boner has been dead for almost a year already, I HIGHLY doubt they'd throw that kind of money at a dumbass speedrun event that will immediately be forgotten, lol. PK doesn't invest into anything that isn't 1000 percent about HER, so its very out of character for her to give that much to an event that has absolutely nothing to do with her or Floraverse, lol. There are dozens of accounts from ex-friends of hers all telling the same story about how the bitch can't even TALK about anything that's unrelated to her or her stupid stories, so if she can't even talk about others without some nasty spite-related motive, I just can't imagine her giving MONEY to shit unrelated to her.

Eh, you're right, it's no good to jump to any real conclusions, but to be completely fair, some sort of spiteful petty fuckery is a million times more likely a theory than PK and friends doing it out of the kindness of their hearts.
