Not to power level, but it depends on the hospital. I have no doubt it's all a lie, but doctors in Boston are mad willing to take on out of state patients AND accommodate them IF they've got insurance.

I'm torn about this post.
On one hand her disappearing for months would deprive us of our milk and if she died we would be left in the dark without knowing what the final build up would look like.
On the other how would she provide for her binges and butler bribes without the youtube monies? She can't save up for a long break without "working", she needs those shekels!
And on my third magical hand, we know amber doesn't follow through with anything unless it's related to eating all of the foodstuffs in a 30 foot area. What is she even vacationing from? The viewers who call her out on her ever expanding girth? All it would allow her to do is gorge herself to 700 without any haydurs acting as a surrogate conscience telling her to not eat the entire lasagna and 7 ramens.
I've known trolls who would be disgusted by this bloated cow.

It will be 2 weeks at most The only thing she lives for besides a papa Mexicana from casa grande is attention and debunking rumors about herself from her videos. To be real she could be hospitalized this year anyways so that could be a couple months then.

couple of months break,, she always says things like that but comes back a week or 2 later. if she really does take a break for months that's leaving her like 4 months behind at this rate since her videos are already 1 month behind. in a way she already is taking break but I guess she has to read comments. I don't think it's for 600 pound life or any WLS because she'd be posting all about it for the views to pay for it.

When a casting agent from a show based on helping people lose weight contacts her, AL is understandably skeptical.
But when an MLM "diet coach" or a random "nutritionist" contact her, she just runs with it after confirming they have an Instagram account.
I'm sure she thinks she's going on a show. Which one, I don't know. Whether it'll actually happen, I can't say. But she's got a plan, y'all.
So, she's saved up enough money for something -- either surgery on her own, or surgery on the show. Even if it's on a show, there are still significant expenses involved, I'm sure. Even just paying rent in Kentucky and Texas at the same time. These things aren't all expenses paid, as far as I can tell.
Either that money gets spent supporting her while she's on the show/recovering from surgery, or she fails immediately and has a nest-egg saved up for the mother of all binges. Either way (and I'm sure she's told herself that there's only one way) she's planning to be gone a few months.
She won't though, because she's bad with money and needs constant attention.
But she's planning. Much like diet and exercise, the intention is all that matters with her.
She did half her job (filming) in May and the other half (uploading) in June. Instead of taking a month off, she just half-assed two months. Ambermath at work.
It's like washing a load of laundry one day and not bothering to put it away until a week later, and then claiming you did laundry twice.
When she fails to get onto a show/gets on a show and promptly fails I'm sure she'll be back talking about how much she "missed her fans" and "loves YouTube, like, for real".

She referred to the doctor as "a psychologist or psychiatrist or whatever you call it," so there's actually a good chance it was neither -- and she thinks she's creating plausible deniability for when people call her out for the lie.

These people sound like idiots. TLC may have contacted Amber, but I doubt Dr. Now did. He's too busy to focus on some YouTube fatty, begging her repeatedly to come to him. And the person who claims their dad wanted her in Boston went to all that trouble before reaching out to her? Why not ask if someone wants help before assuming and making arrangements with a hospital and other doctors? If that story is even true, all he did was waste everyone's time. Not every 600 pound fatty wants a better life.
