I'm sure there's a grain of truth to that. If nothing else, if she did lose weight she wouldn't be able to tell herself that everyone who hates her (and rest assured, people would continue to hate her) is just being "fatphobic". But I'm sure she'd come up with some other excuse to avoid self-reflection.

As far as YouTube goes, I'm convinced that she's convinced that a good portion of her audience is actually tuning in to watch her color and do Wal-Mart hauls. She dreams of a day when she's skinny and lazy and no one complains about her mukbangs. She knows she has some haydurs in her audience, but I don't think she realizes the proportions.
