Kids Tweens and Teens are the majority on 4chan today, and the tranny pedophiles followed them. Most of them believe their youtuber of the week without question, have no cynicism, fall for hype easily, and can't form constructive arguments as to why somethings "fun" or why a certain design is good. I find it funny though that /sneed/ in 2008 was wall to wall asian girls, people would actually be pissed if you posted anything else. Today it looks like the average porn site.

I’ll never forget the first time I wandered into /b/. I frequented /x/ but that was it and I was still new to 4chins. So, after seeing a few people mention it, I mozied on over and the first thread I stumbled upon was of a guy talking about how he fucked a dolphin. Went into vivid detail, there were even pics.

Needless to say I noped the fuck out and it took me a few months to build up enough of a tolerance to go back.

Back when I lurked, /b/ was pretty fun during the day, cancer that is killing /b/-aside, but then you had /b/ at night, where you were certain to fall on either 1) a thread with child porn being posted, 2) people shitting each other, 3) irl gore or 4) all of the above in the same thread.

For me the best thing about /b/ was this paragon of everything:

I'm impressed they held on for this long but sadly it looks like they're dying out. It's hard to get rid of something that has infested the site for years, especially when they're bots/very autistic people. The only way I can see the porn problem being fixed is through heavy moderation, which even then might not work. The other problem is that yellow posting isn't that much more meaningful either. The original magic of /b/ died long ago and once the yellow posters die out porn will fill the space again.

There's only a few smaller boards that haven't been affected by the /pol/tardation, it's insane. I miss old /v/ and /tv/.

I first started visiting 4chan in summer of 2006, right before the Habbo hotel raid, not because of it.

There's a lot of great memories of the site from 2006 to 2011 and it was a huge influence on me, but it's been on a downward trend ever since 2011.

You're half right. It wasn't just GG by itself so much as it was GG and the Fappening happening close to eachother, which brought in newfags and reddit cancer in droves. The celeb nudes being leaked also probably contributed to moot eventually selling the site to Hiroshima.
