Long story short: All digi learned academically was Hiragana and Katakana, so basically anything anyone could pick up in around 2 weeks of learning while having a full time job. As soon as he was confronted with Kanji, he dipped out like a lil faggot, because he is lazy hack.

He also argued: You don't need any Kanji to learn and understand japanese on a conversational level - while this statement isn't entirely untrue, if he had half a brain, he'd know that Japanese is full of homophones, due to it's limited syllabary, thus allowing for Kanji that you know to fill out the blanks you hear when confronted with such.

There's also many points where he claimed to understand many japanese dialogues anyways due to his extensive anime consumption. While he can make out certain phrases and words, the context is seemingly often lost with him or made up. Not to mention the times when he tries to form sentences himself that sound like google translate from 2002. Of course he gets called out for it by people who actually studied/speak japanese but he won't ever change, as he is delusional as hell.

As for his current trajectory, if he keeps on crashing his channel, I'd see him going on a psychotic rant in the next 6 months upon realizing his trash-heap of a career, leaving May in the next 12-18 months.

Honestly digi should just lean into the Loli thing real hard and do a bunch of content about what he thinks the best loli shit is. "Open paedophile" is probably a YouTube niche that doesn't have much competition.

I think it's hilarious to see how far he's fallen from bragging about being s "human content machine" since he lost his editor.

He should probably also get his disgusting teeth fixed so he has an iota of a change to get s real job one day.

Speaking of real jobs, where does anyone here think Conrad will be once the recession hits? Would he lose his patrons? Would Digi be financially forced to face society? Or would he bail on the country like said he would back in 2018? Most of his patrons are likely people like him. I can see the remainder who only pledged for main channel content unpledging after realizing they're not getting their money's worth, but if the recession is severe enough, the aftershocks could be enough to incline loyal fans to unpledge as well. What happens afterwards will be interesting to observe.

I think he's just going to double down and prob come out with more degenerate shit(like that loli content that was mentioned before) because usually degenerates will pay a lot for content of their specific fetish. If that doesn't work? Who knows. I can't see him ever getting a normal job even if he did reach a really low point in his life.

There's no worry about Digi running out of steam just yet, get ready for Arifureta to get the same episode-by-episode commentary that The Asterisk War did.
I think it'll be a waste of time especially because there's no equivalent competent Asterisk War counterpart, but if people still eat up SAO analysis, there's no reason why this won't receive widespread acclaim. Good for him, I suppose.

the way he said it and the fact that he doesn't have an editor right now makes me think it will get more of an eromanga-sensei treatment.

people do not eat up conrad's sao analysis, hence why he gave up on his sao every week garbage after 5 weeks. meanwhile geoff thew's recent sao video got more than twice the amount of views as the amount of people who have the third season on their mal (interestingly, the difference is within the range of the amount of views he gets on a normal video).

I wonder when he's going to give up on this series

I was unclear, I forgot about the SAOEW, but I was referring to the industry of people still shitting on SAO, of which MB is one of those producers.
If it's going to be another Every Week like SAO and Eromanga, then I definitely don't expect it to do well. However, if it's more like Asswar, I predict it will be popular because it will be yet another piece of validation for everyone looking to own the isekai speds. Asswar level content is what a lot of fans say is what they want, after all.
